I went to that tour. You're lucky though cause Arsis has their old bassist back now and they still had a n00b guy when I saw them.

Seeing 'em for the 4th time in October.

I love all of their releases tbh, Nightmares and Ruin are on par for me, with Hollow Crown just behind.

Bit disappointing that they don't really play much from Ruin (don't regard it themselves as being good) or Nightmares other than To the Death.

Can anyone give me a couple "melo"core recommendations? As I'm implying, I'm a sucker for some slick guitar acrobatics and infectious melodic sections.

I definitely enjoy brutality at extreme levels, but there's got to be some sort of resolve.
