they are clearly the only repetitive death metal band

necrophagist's sound was amazing compared to most of the other bands there that day

yeah they definitely have a good sound guy

I don't know if it was the venue I was at, but the opening bands had pretty bad sound, then it got progressively better

like Blackguard had terrible sound, guitar just sounded like a wall of distortion, Beneath the Massacre had a flat sound, origin too

beneath the massacres was so lol

that weird feedback they were getting sounded like a horror movie music sample

i didn't even see what was going on with their bassist and the next thing i know the singer was like uhhhhhhhh, we'll be right back

i also noticed the singer from ensiferums guitar either wasn't plugged in or just wasn't making noise for over half their set. i also have no idea what that was about.

also also; dudes throwing down to necrophagist was the most pathetic thing i've ever seen

oh speaking of blackguard, just remembered the vocalist got spit on in between songs

he was like "who's the large bundle of sticks, who did that, you probably enjoy sucking dicks, ****ing piece of ****" Then a bunch of people pointed to this one guy

"You're an spatula, large bundle of sticks...I'm sorry people I'm not a homophobe but this spatula needs to get his *** kicked, where's security??"

*security gets the guy and takes him away"

meh albany area always has stuff like that at every metal show, even the "death metal" scene is mostly a bunch of hardcore kids in dying fetus hoodies and faux hiphop jeans

i found a blackguard pick on the ground after 75% of the venue left when winds of plague finished. it's cool i guess.

even here in the LA area people aren't that pathetic at dm shows

i'm used to syracuse/auburn shows, so that stuff is normal at the ones i end up going to

lol yeah LA dm shows usually have a pretty decent crowd. Usually only like 60 people show up for dm shows in san diego though lol

I think I accidently gave away a few last month when I was donating clothes which happened to include my Disgust shirt. Sucks for them since it was a cartoon, naked lady tied up with a terrified look on her face, omnibus spread wide open. Value Village probably didn't enjoy that.
