Different types of hardcore. Refused are not your typical hardcore band, that's why TSOPTC has reached the status it has. It was different from the hardcore that during it's time, adding the bits of jazz and taking a step away from generic hardcore. Other than that, all hardcore bands sound different.

Yeah, they're hardcore. Refused don't really sound like any bands in hardcore, that's why. Even though they're hardcore, they did their own thing and are very unique.

Earlier hardcore bands all do, because they were just trying to take punk in a different direction, but if you really really listen to GB, you can hear them turning their sound into what hardcore has become.

I just came back from seeing Reflux and I have to say they were one of, if not the best live band I have ever seen.

I don't think it was meant to be in TX, but they had some shows cancel on them last minute, so we booked 'em down here so they can have a show to help 'em get to where they were going. It turned out well and I've been wanting to pick up the FS cd, just haven't had cash.

I could of gone to the H20 tonight with the Used and 30 Seconds To Mars, but I hung out at quiznos instead.
