Robert Wyatt- Comicopera

This is either really shitty or really amazing. That always seems to be my reaction through the first 2-3 listens of his albums though. I always opt to them being amazing in the end though this could be an exception.

i know it on bass

we should compare chords to see if theyre right (im right)

Boilermaker 09-10-2007 03:18 PM

I had an argument to see if that part where J. starts singing was a C to a D or a C to a D minor with my friend. I think it's just a D but now I'm not so sure.

YDload 09-10-2007 03:19 PM

i would just use all power chords because i am only interested in the bass line anyway

The Black Lips - Let it Boom

Liebensaft 09-10-2007 08:11 PM

The past couple days have been good for new (to me) music. I've listened to the following quite a bit:

Swervedriver
the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Battles

All are pretty awesome, and I've never looked into them before.

Robert Wyatt

Iai 09-11-2007 10:01 AM

The new PJ Harvey.

And for some retarded reason that's the 4th time today I've tried to type 'PJ Harvey' and ended up typing 'Patti Smith'.

Anxious 09-11-2007 10:21 AM
Robert Wyatt
Which album(s)?

AlienEater 09-11-2007 10:33 AM

just Rock Bottom so far. I like it quite a lot, but I'm gonna wait for it to sink in properly before getting anything else by him.

Anxious 09-11-2007 10:41 AM

It took me many listens for me to really get it. Once you do, Old Rottenhat and Dondestan would be good second choices.

AlienEater 09-11-2007 11:12 AM

ok. That probably won't be for a while yet. Actually, I don't know. I quite like it but can't really describe my thoughts about it properly

or something

Kano - London Town - Really impressed by this.
