digging lots of finnish stuff at the moment, like demigod, demilich, adramelech and convulse (ashamed of liking them though)

asphyx and other bands "similar" to demigod, etc are on my to-get-list now

you should get Depravity's Silence of the Centuries if you're listening to Finnish stuff, it's just a short 5 song EP, 20 minutes long.

my cd of that has 9 songs

Asphyx were at MDF but I left early cuz I thought they were some tech nu-death with female singer for some reason. I was thinking of Arsis maybe dunno.

i was up front during darkest hour and some white trash bodybuilder alpha male type came and literally pushed me and 2 other people clear out of his way and started doing reps on the rail trying to look all manly knocking into everyone around him, was pretty comical looking back on it but at the time i was pretty pissed.

was it just me or was the sound horrible at that place?

and yeah, i'm pretty sure that exact same dude was next to me during after the burial. all of those bodybuilder guys were tools.

yeah it was funny, we left after necrophagist played like 5 songs and when we stepped outside we could hear the music with more clarity than we could inside. i think the low roof makes the sound reverberate all over the place.

the only things i got out of necrophagist playing are that muhammed is like 4 feet tall, and that his wife is SMOKIN

yeah, they were spot on, i just wish the sound at the venue was at least tolerable. i don't even mind them on record tbh, it just gets to be the same thing over and over again.
