Can anyone locate Belgium for me? No cheating.
Right around the Netherlands right? North of France-ish?
You ever feel forced to sit down and think about something, but can't purge your head? I've been like that all week. I just need to take a brainsaw, empty out my head's contents, and feel well again.
Write. Not about anything but just write and that helps me. Also helps to have a gf to talk to :-\ |
Can anyone locate Belgium for me? No cheating.
/ looks on globe for a place shaped like waffles :p JK
Christ, Jelle, we're not all ****ing retarded, you know.
Most americans I've asked didn't know, JIM. :p Vince: Yeah, south of the Netherlands, North of France, West of Germany and East of the North Sea. :) |
Not gunna lie, I was on maps.google.com before I came back with my answer.

Jelle has the coolest avatar ever.
 how?!
Well, I had this Neverwinter Nights demo (how did this RPG demo cause the deletion of my music, you ask?), well I clicked on the thing to uninstall it, it asks if I wish to delete everything in the folder (all the stuff for the demo was in it's own folder away from my music), me clicks yes, me sees the names of all my albums go by on the screen, me clicks cancel repeatedly, nothing happens, I cry, I go into deep shock, etc. Yea, it left me baffled. Luckily the only albums I truly lost were the ones I didn't have on CD or CD-R, but that's still a lot. Moral: don't play Neverwinter Nights, I wish I hadn't. |
American Questions:
Some things I wonder, just the impression tv gives me of Americans, here are some questions, I don't know how many I will make up. Do you really all have your own locker in High School? Yes. Are they like on Tv? Depends on what show you're watching. Do you really have those goofy proms with the dates and the blue tuxedos? A few people at my prom had those crazy pastel colored tuxedos. Do you really drink Punch? I didn't have any. What does the S stand for in $? Not sure. Are there really people who wear Football(?)/Sports Jackets from their club ALL THE TIME? Not all the time, but a lot, yes. Do they beat up science nerds? Not really. When you get punished, do you have to write things on the black board after school? Do you like hamburgers? Yes. Are you overweight, fatty? Not at all. I'll think of more later...
There ya go. |
Man, I want my own locker :(
|
Man, I want my own locker :(
You can have mine. I only put my jacket in it in the winter. |
I have my own locker, but rarely use it.
Also, I just posted another article for anyone interested, on John Bonham. |
Jelle has the coolest avatar ever.
True. |
Do you guys have to carry all your books around, or do you have class/home sets? At my school only seniors have class/home sets so I feel all special this year. :D
|
The avatar is awesome. 'Tis a classic movie, and that's probably my favorite part.
|
I really livened up this thread.
And yeah, that's a great part. "Alright, let's call it a draw" |
What movie is it from?
/waits for flaming due to lack of movie knowledge |

And yeah, that's a great part. "Alright, let's call it a draw"
"COME BACK HERE! I'LL BITE YOUR LEGS OFF!" So funny. Also: "African or Europian swalow(sp?)" "I don't know that" *gets thrown off the bridge*
What movie is it from? /waits for flaming due to lack of movie knowledge
 It's from Monty Python and the Holy Grail! |
So I'm listening to Shut Me Up by Mindless Self Indulgence. I had a few preconcieved(and very negative) notions about the band, but I actually like this song. It's just kind of fun, I guess. Anyone else have thoughts on these guys?
I can't stand that description of a life. You have one.
You have time for some fun, and work, if it makes you happy that's all of a life you need.
it took me a while in my life to get over the fact that going out and getting drunk at stupid discos with idiots wasn't a thing that I really wanted to do, I always felt horribly depressed on a friday or saturday night when I was at home doing nothing, more likely on a friday at my dad's house, which isn't conductive to going out, and every one else who were my "friends" who I only really escaped this year was going out and getting pissed... I still get pangs of this sometimes, sorry (one note- as soon as I stopped hanging out with these people and finally got up the nerve to never see them again, after that I lost about a stone in weight and my self esteem raised incredibly) I realised all they did was bully me, they were never my real friends, I was just the bitch of their little group, these guys who I had known since I was 5 years old sucked and I couldn't get away until they left school, THAT's the sad thing... |

I liked the Holy Grail better, although they're both good. |

For two years, 7th and 8th grade years, I hung out with "the cool crowd." I thought it was cool to hang out with them, because everyone knew you, and other things, but I was definitely the punching bag of the group, just like you were. Those years were also the only two years that I've gotten into any major trouble, so when I entered highschool, I just said fuck them, and started hanging out with a bunch of different folks. I definitely fit in better with my current friends, and the drop on the popularity food chain really doesn't matter to me any more. I mean, in 2 years, it's not going to matter who I hang out with, so I might as well at least have fun with the people I like, you know? :) |
I don't have friends, so I can't empathize with any of you :)
burn
my 7 year old nephew said to me today- "You're a bit of a wierd 17 year old...all you do is play on your computer or go on the internet, or work, but that doesn't count" I said, "well I go to band practice, that's cool right?" I have no life and even a 7 year old realises this...that sucks arse
Your life - work = my life See? There's always someone even more pathetic than you are, and you can take solace in that fact. Maybe. |

/agrees The scene where the people are being crucified, and they just start singing  |
Look on the bright side of life...:whistle:

Superpeer, your poll makes me sad. No punch? No yellow school buses? No cheerleaders even? :( :( :(
Also, I can name just about any country on a map. There are a couple of online quizzes that can verify this, but you can pick one if you want :) |
Wow... after tomorrow New Orleans may be uninhabitable
:( Hopefully nothing to bad will happen. The city may get flooded becuase its a few feet below see level. (i think)

My mom said some study said an F4 would put 18ft of water in the French Quarter, this is an F5. More than a few feet I'd say :-/ |
So I heard, sucks. I always wanted to go there too :-/
I wanted to go to Jazz Fest this year, but I dont know if it will happen :(
Hopefully nothing to bad will happen. The city may get flooded becuase its a few feet below see level. (i think)
Oh it will, and it will stagnate. New Orleans also has a good amount of graves. Some people are predicting that bodies may be pulled from the ground during the hurricane, spreading plenty of diseases. Im worried about my house. I hope my area isnt effected too badly. The dead shouldnt be messed with....even if it is by mother nature.
I couldnt imagine seeing the city after all is done. Im sure CNN will have the city in all of it's "Bull**** Filtered Glory" I guess some stuff is better not seen. |
whoa, what about the dead that rise from the grave due to a horrible radiation accident and take over the earth?
the US government will be the death of us all... bedtime for me I think |
Yeah, NO has a fuckload of graves and burial sites.
My area will be getting a lot of wind and rain for the next couple of days. |
Peh, The UK Government is a bunch of boy touchers, so what now?
|
Hey guys, hows it goin'?
Today was interesting.. I went to this local BBQ for my boyfriends car forum that he belongs to (www.rx7club.com), and it was kinda cool. There was like.. maybe 50 people there, all with their cars to show off, I just followed my boyfriend around the whole time, along with his friends, and they were all talkin cars and stuff and I was like, "what." Yeah. I saw this one guy I haven't seen since I was like 9 or 10, that was kinda interesting. Yeah so basically, it was a card nerd fest. Pics of stuff: http://home.comcast.net/~rx7projects/bbq.html Only pic of me in there: http://home.comcast.net/~rx7projects/bbq/54.jpg
To me, cars are something that takes me from point A to point B, and costs me a damn fortune in the process. Never really been much into cars. I would have been more into the BBQ part. Heh. Edit: So, uh, my Senior year starts tomorrow. How about you guys? (If you still go to school of course) *pathetic attempt at getting this thread moving again* |
