Speak of the devil, Stevie has a radio show here in Vancouver, but I'm not sure where else you could get it. It's called "Little Stevie's Underground Garage" and it's on one of the classic rock stations. Definitely worth a listen :) .

Also, speaking of Rolling Stone, anyone see the "Children Of Rock" issue? I was worried it was going to be "oh, boo hoo, I'm famous", but it's not.

For those uninformed, it's an issue about musician's children, and various interviews with them. They've got Sean Lennon (son of John) Alexandra Richards (daughter of Keith), Ben Taylor (son of James), Alexa Joel (daughter of Billy), and a bunch more. It's pretty cool.

ive heard of the underground garage but i cant get it in michigan. i read somewhere that he bases it around the ramones. them, bands that inspired them, and bands that they inspired and the like.

Did you read the story about Trixie Garcia eating the shrooms at age 1 and a half?

RockAndRoll 04-14-2005 03:11 PM

Stevies underground garage plays in a lot of places, it plays here in london ontario. and  at the shrooms.

thickasabrick 04-14-2005 03:12 PM

We also have Little Stevies Underground Garage. (Regina)

I've never really paid any real attention to it though, there's really good music...but I'm always just driving somewhere so I never actually have time to listen to it.

One of Jerry's daughters? Cause I know he has a daughter named Theresa, so maybe that's a nickname.

Either way,

gmoneyguy 04-14-2005 03:30 PM

If thats true Im surprised she didn't die.

Maybe I remembered the name wrong. Also, I believe she got into some acid-spiked orange juice.

RockAndRoll 04-14-2005 03:48 PM

 that's hilarious.

BludgeonySteve 04-14-2005 04:20 PM

I read that article. She also said that her sister (or brother, I forget) got some acid spiked juice.

edit: omg. k arestthisman said it.

Jerry's such a bad parent.

RockAndRoll 04-14-2005 06:06 PM

everybody has one friend whose parents will buy them weed or something, but that's just insane.

What? I definitely don't have that friend. I do have a friend whose parents give him Playboys.

I have a couple of those friends.

Jerry only had daughters (But like three wives, so maybe they were half brother and sisters). He had said a couple of the kids didn't get as much attention from him because he was on the road a lot, and because his divorcees would keep them away from him.

Today I read that his first wive use to bring their first daughter to the Acid Tests and set her up in an empty room and check up on her. No wonder one or two of them got into some Acid.

*read a certain biography twice ;)*

pigonthewing82 04-14-2005 06:14 PM

Who in here likes Jefferson Airplane? I have just been geting into them, and they are really good.

I don't have friends who's parents will buy us or them weed, but some parents allow us to do it in their basements.

I've only heard Surrealistic Pillow for the most part, but it's amazing. I'm planning to get Volunteers soon.

Drug Briefing

Bad News:

Shrooms are impossible to get.

I'm 0 for 8. :(

Good News:

LSD is not, and my friend wants to have an Acid party at his house next week or so.
Who in here likes Jefferson Airplane? I have just been geting into them, and they are really good.
I've got Surrealistic Pillow and I love it. Other than that I only have an unnecessarily large number of Jefferson Starship albums.

What kind of parent would buy their kid weed? It's not like you have to be a certain age to buy it, like alcohol. I've got a couple friends who have family (Uncles, cousins etc) that give them pot...one friend of mine has a grandma who lives in BC and grows her own weed. She doesn't sell it though, only gives it away for family, or uses it for personal use.

Yeah whenever I'm about to get shrooms the deal always falls through at the last minute.

On the Jefferson Airplane, yea Volenteers is great, my personal favorite.

Weird...

If by "BC" you mean British Columbia, then is it in some way legal there?

Shrooms have been a little sparse around here too in the last few weeks, although I know a whole bunch is coming in soon. Me and my friends are actually having to become sort of dealers...since the main dealer at our school became too popular, and he now only deals 1 ounce or more.

edit- No, pot isn't legal in British Columbia...although the laws are very slack there (if you are caught smoking up, the cops just take away your pot and send you on your way). She lives in a big rich area that's hired it's own police force separate from the rest of the city, and they basically just ignore her growing.

lunch998 04-14-2005 06:28 PM

It's an easy way to make money. Tip: Never go to the people to sell it, make them come to you or meet you somewhere. This kid I know who sold weed got set up and robbed. He only lost a quarter, but he got pistol whipped twice.

Then again, people buying shrooms aren't usually the type of people that would do that. This was in the ghetto.

I'm not too worried about getting attacked or anything. This is just highschool stuff, and it's a pretty tightly knit community. Our school is known as the pothead school in the city and all the stoners flock there. Mostly just hippy type stoners who are generally nice guys. It's a good area too.

Who'd everyone vote for in the latest poll?

Badmoon 04-14-2005 06:31 PM
but he got pistol whipped twice.
That's funny

...But painful of course.

thickasabrick 04-14-2005 06:33 PM

I honestly don't even think people own guns in my city, other than like hunting guns. We've never had a shooting death or anything like that.

Me and my friends got a hold of some grapefruit weed on the weekend (we got about six grams), it's the best weed I've ever tried. It smells so good, and it leaves your mouth with a fruity aftertaste.

lunch998 04-14-2005 06:33 PM
That's funny

That would fucking suck to get pistol whipped, and lose a good deal of profit.

My school is ghetto, so a lot of the drug flow involves the ghettos around this area.

magicbus 04-14-2005 06:36 PM

I listen to Little Stevie's Underground Garage Band every once in a while, and I'd like to try LSD, and I voted Clapton.

Lots of people own guns in mine, some even bring them to school. Sombody got in a lot of trouble last year because their back pack tipped over and a gun fell out.

And yea I like that fruit weed, Blueberry for me.

I'm moderately worried, but then again I'm well read on the subject, and acknowledge the precautions and such to take. So, I should not be as worried as I am.

I voted for Santana cause I was raised on him and he has been a big influence on me so far. I still listen to him too.:)

I'm not as knowledgable as you on the subject, but I figure one time with an understanding of it won't hurt.
