Well in high school being straight edge is less conformity then doing it because everybody does it just to be cool. I mean there are some exeptions, I mean when I do it its usally be myself, or with my cousin, so I don't see how thats me doing it just to be cool as much as just to chill and relax.
:-/ That really confused me. |
Being a lightweight is economically beneficial.
Absoloutely, I don't know what the problem with being a lightwieght is. |

It's a reputation/"toughness" thing, really. |

The more you can drink, the more games you can play, and then the next morning you can make fun of other people that got drunker than you. |
Yeah, I hang out with huge football player/body builder steroid junkie guys so it's always clear that I am the least tough and the one who relies most on his head so being a light weight doesn't phase me at all. I just make sure to stay the **** away when they get drunk and pissy.
Me too. I miss him.
To be honest, I cant wait till he moves out. |

I'm looking forward to my sister moving out. /sister is a bitch |
Tobacco is super lame. My dad smokes but now he only does it outside away from the family which is nice.
My mam and dad both smoker fairly heavily for the first 12 years or so of my life. My mam stopped after that (which was nicely done), but my dad still smokes heavily to this day, despite being told by a doctor that he has to stop. So I've been dead set against it pretty much all my life. I don't nag people to stop though, unless I'm close enough to really care. For some reason though, my sister has started. |
It's a reputation/"toughness" thing, really.
 Oh yes the best reason to do anything right there. |
I can't wait till I move out. I hate my brother but he's younger than me. I graduate next year so it's coming. My sister moved out when I was like 8 so she and I never grew to hate each other.
|

 I bet that's true, but I don't live with him. I'm moving out in the fall. Anyone wanna room with me? |
My bro is five years older than me, so we were never close enough to each other to fight and hate each other. We get along really well.
I'm looking forward to my sister moving out.
/sister is a bitch
I want my brother to get a taste of the real world and grow the hell up. He is gonna be out of high school in about a month, and he still gets into bitch fights with my parents all the time. |
Tobacco is such a stupid thing. There's no question...if you smoke for long enough, you will have problems.
|

Same here except my sister is 7.5 years older. I'm going to Germany to visit her actually. Did that 2 years ago when she was in Mexico. She has had a very cool life in these first 24 years. |
I used to think smoking was the most annoying thing in the world. Now some of my friends do it, but I don't really care. They hear enough of the "smoking is bad" propaganda already.
Most of my friends don't smoke though, so it's cool. |
Hey, can somebody upload Vermillion 2 by Slipknot for me? I wanna hear it to see if it sucks as much as I think it will.
|
Neither of my parents smoke. They don't even drink cofee, but they do drink (alcohol) every now and then, only on get togethers and such.

Dammit I wish I had siblings
My cousins weren't the same...I saw them over school breaks and summer vacations, but that's just not the same. Thankfully I will have a half-brother or sister, even if he/she will be 19 years younger. |
My mom was addicted to caffeen like hard core. She had to stop because of some pills she had to take, and jesus for the first month it was like super bitch on speed.
|
Dammit I wish I had siblings
Believe me, you grow to hate your siblings if you grow up with them, so really it's not any better than not having any. |
My brother and I are very close, we get along well. There're always sibling fights of course, but after the choas we start laughing every time.

I still get into bitch fights with the parents when I'm home. |

I guess that's normal really. |

Eh, my sister isn't like that. It's more her bitching at me for anything and everything. She's been constantly screming at me to get my hair cut lately, it's annoying. Anyway, I'm off. Bye all. |
Believe me, you grow to hate your siblings if you grow up with them, so really it's not any better than not having any.
Actually, a lot of my friends are close to their siblings. Hell, my gf has great relationships with her brother and her sister. |
Bye EVH.

Yeah, my dad works incredibly hard (too hard, I'd say), so it's not really surprising. If a friend of mine started smoking though, I'd let them know that I wasn't please with it. Maybe it's just because I hated my parents' smoking, though. I remember being about eight or nine and talking to my sister about how when I finally grew up and had a house of my own, it'd have No Smoking signs and things in it. |
I still get into bitch fights with the parents when I'm home.
heh, well I know your fights arent the same as the types he gets into. "OMG dad, y wont u let me smoke in your truck?" -------------- "OMG dad, y cant you let me stay out late? I am an adult!" Dad: "Why dont you try acting like one first? Start by working more than 8 hours a week, and actual pay for your insurance" |
