ooh i have that video.
Hey, if you really have that Italy '92 video can you do me favour??

I'm downloading it and I reached the 4th song - Lucretia. Can you write here the whole set list after that??

Or in case there are some you don't know names of, just write those you know.

Thanks :thumb:

MAthiAS 03-20-2005 05:17 PM

I know the last song they play is a Peace Sells/Wake Up Dead medley. Before Lucretia they play Holy Wars, Hangar 18, and Skin O My Teeth right? So... after Lucretia they play Sweating Bullets and In My Darkest Hour, I don't remember the order though, and they might've played Symphony, don't remember.

And the Of Mice And Men video is pretty cool, way better than DDE's video.

IAJP 03-20-2005 05:23 PM

DDE is one of the crappiest videos ever,
And yeah, I lent my friends TSHF today, it's good I think...

Arise II 03-20-2005 06:20 PM

I d/loaded Of Mice And Men off Deth's official site, but I've only been able to see it once, cuz ever since I first watched it, when I click on it to open, it freezes up my computer

MAthiAS 03-20-2005 07:16 PM

The DDE video is almost as bad as the videos that just show the band playing, with nothing else going on.

Huber 03-20-2005 07:35 PM

Yeah, I just watched it to see how bad it was. I didn't finish it. It seemed to lame, and like it wasn't going to stop being lame any time soon.

RiceMonster 03-20-2005 07:52 PM

I was fine with the Die Dead Enough video, but then again, I don't really like music video's so, you get the idea. I'd rather watch a band live than watch a music video.

Freezing Moon 03-20-2005 07:57 PM

That video was horrible, in my opinion.

They could have made it cool, but it is extremely lame.

clairvoyant 03-20-2005 08:28 PM
I'd rather watch a band live than watch a music video.
Ya. I love Iron Maiden's older videos cause most of them are just them playing live.

So Very true its sad :upset:
they should of just made it them playing live or something better than that.

drummerman 03-20-2005 09:23 PM

^me too, to clairvoyant

The songs a bit cheesy (IMO, of course), so playing live probably would have been the best. If they had the right ideas, they could have made the video good though.

rocknrolladdict8 03-21-2005 03:07 AM

IMHO roughly 90% of metal music videos are unadulterated idiocy (not that non-metal music videos are any better). Iron Maiden had a few good videos, and personally I love Metallica's video for 'One' but mostly live footage easily surpasses any stylized music video.

Lord Abortion 03-21-2005 04:36 AM
Your attitude should be more like "**** yeah! Another album!"

If you don't like the new album, it's not like all the other ones get worse, there still there and just as good.
it is but if there is to be another megadeth release we want it to be in the style of TSHF rather than the other two I mentioned...

Also I thought that the album dave has already written was to be a solo album?

MAthiAS 03-21-2005 07:16 AM

It was, but he could use it as a Megadeth album if he wants to continue the band.

nice...

I want more megadeth!

Deth 03-21-2005 10:36 AM

The guitarist in Megadeth said the fans will freak after they find out who they're touring with this summer.

Hmmm...

I agree here. I've never seen any metal videos that I liked (tastes!) except Metallica's vids. Their best is Until It Sleeps and recent videos were also very good.

However, I have to disagree with Maiden vids. I love the band but all their videos with appearance of Eddy are horrible. Run To The Hills being the worst. Yes it was 80's but they could have made something better. Or what's about that dancers in Number Of The Beast???
Their best is IMO Rainmaker !

Thanks a lot about the Italy 92 video :thumb:

Oh, nothing from Killing Is My Business :upset:

jaymz_is_god 03-21-2005 03:34 PM

I thought the video for 'Of Mice And Men' was pretty cool.

METALLICA ???

IAJP 03-21-2005 04:00 PM

This whole incident was a long time ago, who the hell cares anymore?
The way I see it, Megadeth are progressing in a much better way than Metallica are right now.

Let me put it clearer:
Megadeth's last 2 albums=Good,
Metallica's last 2 album=hmmm...?

jaymz_is_god 03-21-2005 04:04 PM

You can't really say who is progressing better than who. Maybe the music Metallica have been playing recently is the direction they have wanted to go in. So they have been progressing the way they wanted to.

ThrashMaster27 03-21-2005 04:09 PM

No, it won't be Metallica. It says it'll be an East Coast/West Coast thing. It'll most likely be Anthrax. Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll be Overkill.

wrongnote85 03-21-2005 04:10 PM

megadeth and anthrax would be beyond awesome.any idea when they're going to release the dates and such?

MAthiAS 03-21-2005 04:12 PM
The guitarist in Megadeth said the fans will freak after they find out who they're touring with this summer.

Dave has said they'll tour with ***** *******. Dream Theater is the only band I know of that fits that and is also planning to tour this summer.

Course, Dave said he was going to make amends with Metallica and Slayer, so possibly them, and I've heard him talk of a tour with Anthrax, Testament, and Exodus before too.

Any of those would make me cream my pants.

IAJP 03-21-2005 04:15 PM

If he toured with Exodus I would probbably scream.

btoto 03-21-2005 04:22 PM

I'd get a huge boner if I see 'deth and 'tallica headbang on the same stage !

mwhaaaa

What about Maiden???? Maybe it's them...

MAthiAS 03-21-2005 04:27 PM
Like Dave has posted, I must re-iterate and post my joy of what is in the work's for this summer tour there is alot of cool stuff going on and being talked about pertaining to this subject, and I can tell you at this point all parties involved are psyched to partake in this

There are no other shows down there; we come back to the states immediately following Australia.

We are almost ready to announce who are the acts for the summer tour over here, and from reading the (overwhelming) threads of who I should take out I think that some of you will be very pleased. Put it this way, it will be a East Coast/West Coast thing.

Next, I talked to Diamond Head last Sunday and asked if they were interested in playing on a second stage at the summer festival over here and they were stoked. Send them your thoughts if you want them to come over; they have only ever played one show here in the states and that was in Wisconsin I recall.

As most of you are surely aware from Dave's post's, there are a lot of cool thing's in the work's - none of which can be spoken of at the moment, but once all is solidified, you know it will be revealed. All of us are very excited about what is in the works, I believe you will be as well once they are revealed.
Everything I could dig up from the Deth forums. Not too much information there, but sounds exciting.

Christ I hope it is. I've got tickets to see Maiden and it says there are more bands TBC. I heard a rumour it could be Megadeth. I will actually cream if it is them.
If he toured with Exodus I would probbably scream.
He did it on the first NA tour, so its definitely possible again.
What about Maiden???? Maybe it's them...
I doubt Deth will go on Ozzfest.
