Joey played the drums on The Murderdoll's album right? If so I think that was some of his best work.

And just to get this out of the way:

I know he plays guitar for the band! However, I believe on the album he played drums because they lacked a drummer at the time.

i think you are right...i heard that before...i knew he wrote all the material for it...but i am not sure if the recordings are him...

perhaps hes smoking pot, anyway, slipknot sometimes do abit of death metal, such as ppl = s**t and eeyore, but they do other stuff like vmll pt. 2

Personally, I'd say they're "disposable, aimed at angsty goth-fag-teenagers who get bullied at high-school, redundant, cheesy, artistically devoid, sell-out bullsh[b][i][/b][/i]it" but they're generally accepted as a death metal influenced form of nu-metal, with hints of other genres incorporated, eg. the clean songs etc.

Actually, an interview with Mick Thompson contradicts that statement, where he claims that they took out lots of parts from their songs in order to make it more accessable to the masses, because their manager told them to.

I hate Slipknot because their music is shallow, they sold out [B]and even admit that they sold out[/B], and well, their music just sucks balls in my opinion.
