I like your hair/wig thang.
thanks. i combed it myself. normally i just let it go wild. i also put a large fan in front of me during the gig so my hair would flow in the wind. (chicks dig that kind of thing)

Loyton 03-02-2006 11:28 PM

Looks very ethnic.

rockindrummer 03-02-2006 11:28 PM

^ I bet man, the complete blackness of your body must get them going crazy aswell man.

LoneStarDrummer 03-02-2006 11:32 PM

yeah it's not uncommon for girls to randomly run up and rub their hands all over my body.

i must admit, as nice as they may sound i can get annoying when you're with your girlfriend and other girls keep on feeling my body. my gf gets pissed.

Loyton 03-02-2006 11:32 PM

Double Bass Jim 03-03-2006 01:03 AM

Opeth tonight was GREAT, man the house of blues has the best acoustics ever. You could hear every note crystal clear and the volumes were perfect. They played the same set list as the new york chronilogical show.

It was me my mom and my uncle, driving through chicago traffic is the WORST. We had some close calls running people over and lots of break slamming and horn beeping haha. It wears you down drivin in that crap but it was worth it in the end. My uncle never heard the band and he was impressed and liked em, and my mom has been a fan as long as I have. The only problem we had was seeing the stage, all the sudden everyone has to be 6'5 and over when I wanna see something... Overall through it was a GREAT show with perfect playing and sound.

Oh JIM! Thats awsome. Im surprised your mother likes them.

Double Bass Jim 03-03-2006 01:17 AM

Yeah she digs em, I think I got my uncle into them now too.

Mikael was funny as heck live, he was making some great comments and was playing off the crowd really well. He was responding to the stuff people where screaming at em hahah.

It's a shame martin wasnt there to play drums though... The replacement dude was ok but he's no lopez thats for sure.

Corkofski 03-03-2006 01:26 AM

happy page 1000!

Tim 03-03-2006 01:28 AM

wooters im on page 1000.

in other news....i cant wait for my crash i got on ebay to come in.

Motleyguy 03-03-2006 01:44 AM

Hmmm, I'm talking to my guitarist/singer right now...and we've decided we're gonna do a SOAD cover, reggae style. Should be interesting, it's gonna be a bitch and a half to arrange, but I reckon it'll sound rad when we're done...not sure what song yet though.

Corkofski 03-03-2006 01:51 AM

lol
i'd want a copy of that

thinking of SOAD songs i can play well, i think that chop suey might work well

on a soad note, am i correct in thinking that John Dolmayan has HUGE John Bonham influences?

Motleyguy 03-03-2006 01:53 AM

Seems so, he's in this month's DRUM! I just haven't read the interview yet. We were thinking Peephole, IEAIAIO, or Streamline so far.

Jezen 03-03-2006 02:00 AM

SOAD songs are really easy. That's what my first band played all the time when we first started.

Motleyguy 03-03-2006 02:04 AM

Yes, but making them reggae...will be the tough part.

Panopticon 03-03-2006 02:08 AM

who wants to go swimmin' ladies and gents?!
