I've got some old audio bootlegs of clinics etc and he plays faster and cleaner there than he does on the Racer X albums. Same with live guitar solos back in '87, he was playing YRO faster live while jogging backwards than he did sitting down on the Street Lethal album. :upset::upset::upset::upset:

Well I know age has nothing to do with skill but it's RARE that you find a guitarist [i]that[/i] good at 18.


Not to mention when Bruce Bouillet would pick and Paul would play the left hand part on just one guitar and play a solo, fukking incredible.

Unfortunately at my young age money is hard to come by. I'll see if I can manage to scrownge up some more before tomorrow afternoon so I can get both. I don't think COB's CDs are very expensive 'round my parts so this could be an accomplishable goal.

I just watched a video of it on youtube. Stupendous stuff.

You should get Follow The Reaper, then SW, then Hatebreeder. They're all excellent but that's the order of greatness.

tbh. recently i started to prefer the newer CoB instead of the old albums, so my suggestion goes with Hate Crew Deathroll.

I say newer CoB for guitar playing. Older for listening.
