That venue has the most random selection of events I've ever heard.
It's actually a hockey arena, but during the canadian national exhibition it was filled with dirt and held various horse-themed events.

we get our ice in a few weeks but My Bloody Valentine is playing there soon as well.

This kid in my dorm invited me to see My Bloody Valentine in Santa Barbara at the beginning of October, but i dont want to go because the kids a total loser and talks to me incessantly about all this indie rock music i dont give a **** about.

Tyler 09-01-2008 08:49 PM

Hah, well I'll probably see much of the show plus I'll be getting paid, so I'd be a fool to turn it down. This Friday is Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick. That should be "fun".

TimJim 09-01-2008 08:49 PM

i cant stand them

HAHAHA

my mom bought 2 extra tickets to that show and gave them to me. I was like, "no", and she said i was crazy for turning down some of the best music the 70s had to offer.

i laughed, hard.

Txus 09-01-2008 10:32 PM

Dimmu Burger 09-01-2008 10:32 PM
What are Therapy like ?
Good hard rock. As that's a pretty novel concept on it's own, it's best to just listen to them:

and now listening to Dopethrone...good so far.

metacognition 09-01-2008 10:39 PM
and now listening to Dopethrone...good so far.
Dimmu Burger 09-01-2008 10:40 PM

Meh, I guess I'm not much of a hard rock guy. I either want Mortician or Coldplay, one way or the other, lol.

Txus 09-01-2008 10:42 PM

Therapy? are really good tbh. Troublegum is so damn good <3

Permanent Solution 09-01-2008 10:44 PM
Therapy? are really good tbh. Troublegum is so damn good <3
Truth. I was surprised to find it used at the CD store.

Infernal Love is good too, that's what I just listened to.

Txus 09-01-2008 10:47 PM

Me too, both albums are really good. The rest kinda bores me tbh.

Dimmu Burger 09-01-2008 10:48 PM

I rarely listen to rock music anymore, and if I do its usually really catchy and usually older stuff that I liked years ago like Incubus.

Permanent Solution 09-01-2008 10:50 PM

I find Therapy? catchy, but I find Incubus **** for the most part so eh

adb 09-01-2008 10:51 PM

yeah older Incubus is impossible to get out of my head, extremely catchy.

Dimmu Burger 09-01-2008 10:58 PM

Yeah Science through Morning View freakin own. I miss Dirk!

Txus 09-01-2008 10:59 PM

Science is the best

Dimmu Burger 09-01-2008 11:00 PM

True dat. My old friends would tell my I was stupid when I said Science was better than Make Yourself, but meh, they all play in pop rock bands.

adb 09-01-2008 11:03 PM

I used to like Make Yourself when I was in middle school and liked a bunch of nu metal.

keyboardxmosh 09-01-2008 11:25 PM

incubus is chill

big80smullet 09-01-2008 11:25 PM

i like the whale song

McP3000 09-01-2008 11:26 PM

Morning View was my favorite Incubus album, but i never found them to be that great in the first place

AA-12 09-01-2008 11:40 PM

they're pretty good.

big80smullet 09-01-2008 11:43 PM
