Yep, I'm back now... school ends for me tomorrow (bloody Thursday finals), and I get to go home and visit mi familia for a month. College rocks.

Except for the part where I still have to finish writing my English Final. I was actually surprised this morning, when my Calculus exam went rather smashingly well... I think I did pretty good!

Jev 12-21-2005 01:07 PM

Glad to have you back. Went Ice Skating today, only fell over once thank god. My ankles hurt because I skate like a retard however.

My legs are fine, it's just my ankles :(

Where's Ben? Somebody go get Ben. I wanna tell him that I've listened to Opeth now.

Also, I'm freaking exhausted from all this homework and finals and stuff. I'm so glad it's almost over.

When do you folks finish up terms?

Doctor Night 12-21-2005 02:12 PM

Who is Ben?

I finished on friday.

Jev 12-21-2005 02:23 PM

Ben=Brew right? Or is he Andy. I think I call him ben 'cos some guy I saw at download looked like him and was called ben.

I finished Friday also.
How much was Download?
Umm. This is really stretching my memory. £135 I believe. Next year will be more of course.

Spectrum 12-21-2005 03:35 PM

Brew = Andy
AJiG = Ben

Silly English Kah-niggits.

This is what I'm supposed to be doing.

Oh, Chris, you're so cheeky.

Did you ever get Lame to work out for you?

Good to hear, which album?

And there's a Ben that looks like Brew? Super-human

Spectrum 12-22-2005 05:48 AM

The album would be Damnation. I think that's the one you suggested to me in the first place... evocative, very 70's Prog.-influenced songwriting on this record. And his clean vocals are excellent, especially the harmony sections.

Your next post will be so radically 3vi|.

Holy wow, it's morning time over here. I never went to bed yesterday/today.

I think I'll get a solid hour of sleep now.

only just today

made a new song, not terribly happy with it.

I'll probably put it up all the same

Spectrum 12-22-2005 06:25 AM

Yeah, so I just got the Mogwai files you uploaded, ZIP'd them, and sent them back to you. Is there any reason that the files contained in part one were identical to those contained in part two?

I'm also looking forward to hearing this band for the first time.

But first, STOP! It's Coma Time!

/goes to bed

Refl 12-22-2005 06:48 AM

Yawn

moaner 12-22-2005 07:25 AM

pt1 and pt2 should not be the same..

I'll be venemously angry if they are, because part 1 did not contain "Mogwai fear Satan", which is like, Mogwai's best song.

EDIT:

Finally got the whole bloody thing to work! It was a long adventure, onvolving favours from mike, new software, and too much rapidshare, but i now have the whole album DLd, and if mike is having problems i can zip it or rar it for him.

Brew 12-22-2005 10:04 AM

Standing close to a drum kit for a few hours does nothing for your hearing.

I also dislike the temp. lead guitarist for my band, he's an annoying little bastard.

Jev 12-22-2005 10:35 AM

Heh I know man. I have band practice in a bedroom. We can just about fit all the band members in. The drummer plays so fucking loud.

Brew 12-22-2005 11:07 AM

We were at my drummers house today, the room where we practised was alright, just big enough to get us all in with our amps and mic stands (I got to do some backing vocals today  )

We normally practise at my singers house, and the room there is great. Plenty of room for amps/mic stands and even some room to walk around and stay sood in the same place all the time.

Jev 12-22-2005 11:14 AM

:( we don't have anywhere decent to rehearse really. School room's dynamics suck. You can't hear anything. Drummer's bedroom is pretty small, has no door (but we're allowed to go as loud as we want wooooooo) and singer's garage. The kit he has there is terrible and normally it's freezing. We also have to keep it quiet there
