Fucck

I shaving-creamed myself up for a nice shave, then realized I left my razor at my house when I went for Thanksgiving so now I'm sitting here with shaving cream on my face waiting for my friend to bring over his.

Angmar 11-30-2007 09:11 PM

Heh that kinda sucks, I use electric so shaving cream never really comes into play for me.

gmoneyguy 11-30-2007 09:12 PM

lulz. Its Santa Kage!

30 second shaves ftw

Kage 11-30-2007 09:13 PM

I'd take a picture if I was a hipster with an iMac, but alas I am not.

Angmar 11-30-2007 09:13 PM
30 second shaves ftw
Haha, yup.

Kage 11-30-2007 09:14 PM

I got to a point where the electric shave wasn't doing it for me. Nothing like a crisp, authentic shave with a razor.

i am the robots 11-30-2007 09:14 PM

Yep, basically. I can never get completely clean shaven anymore there's always the tiniest bit of stubble, it's annoying.

I'll agree that it does feel nicer and do a better job but when I used a manual razor I had seriously bad acne breakouts on my neck that I don't get with an electric.

gmoneyguy 11-30-2007 09:21 PM

Did you use aftershave?

Angmar 11-30-2007 09:21 PM

Yeah I did, which is the strange part. My facial hair doesn't grow very fast though, and I use some lotion thing that is suppose to make my hair stick up so I am completely content using an electric.

i am the robots 11-30-2007 09:22 PM

What's this lotion called, it sounds like I could use it.

Angmar 11-30-2007 09:25 PM

I dunno how well it works really but it's called Afta Pre-Electric.

Razor burn probably. You're over-shaving.

Angmar 11-30-2007 09:27 PM

That might be it but I don't really care much anymore, I've gotten used to electric.

ATM 11-30-2007 10:03 PM

I shave with a sword.

Tyler 11-30-2007 10:04 PM

I have a buddy who used to trim his beard by setting it on fire.

Is that just a tall tale or did you actually watch him do this?

Tyler 11-30-2007 10:10 PM
Is that just a tall tale or did you actually watch him do this?
I only saw him do it once, briefly, but trust me, it's legit. The first time I met him he lit his chest hair on fire.

i am the robots 11-30-2007 10:11 PM

Hahaha, I remember the pics. That man has an epic beard.

I guess it's slightly more understandable for rampant chest hair.

Does it keep it away for longer than waxing or something? Because I can't imagine that being any less painful.

Your hair would burn really fast, not your skin.

Your hair would flare up and be done, you'd just feel heat.

Haven't you ever burnt your mustache or something smoking?

Riva 11-30-2007 11:15 PM

I'd be switching to a badger brush, shaving cream (not foam) and a very sharp 4 bladed razor, Angmar. Try to get a moisturising aftershave cream. You will get better results than with an electric, and no acne either.

i am the robots 11-30-2007 11:21 PM

I'm lucky, I only got acne on my forehead, but hair covers that so I'm fine... and it's clearing up rather nicely now.

Riva 11-30-2007 11:22 PM

You get acne cos of your hair, I wager.

All that brushing forward and slicking with gel. Tsk tsk.

This is pretty cool.

i am the robots 11-30-2007 11:26 PM

I don't use gel, I've straightened it a few times though.

And I had acne on my forehead worse when I had a buzz cut, so pwnt.

Riva 11-30-2007 11:28 PM

Wait wait Mappy, you have a pimple on your neck.

Oh my mistake that's your head.

i am the robots 11-30-2007 11:29 PM

Holy 8th Grade, Batman!

Riva 11-30-2007 11:32 PM

The old ones are the best.

Newschool would be me banning you and then laughing it up in the secret Mod Bar, Lounge & Grill.
