Did you have to go through a learning course first, or did you just apply for it?

EDIT: To Riva

Sweet!

My buddy is coming back to Maryland, and I think we are going to get a place together. That would be awesome.

Ok, I got the job! (See above post) So, check back soon as I upload...

Indeed they do! Four years ago when I first heard them, I jumped out of my seat because of his vocals. They were so different from what I was accustomed to hearing from a death metal band.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-18-2005 09:05 PM

Insano. It'll probably take me a good part of 2 weeks to finish once I get it.

Jake, what did you use to record that?

EDIT:  @ the end

ATM 07-18-2005 09:31 PM

Cain, nice avatar man.

By the way, everyone go over to the Alt/Indie YSI thread. I uploaded a really great jazz album, it's my favorite. :)

I'll link if you are all lazy.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-18-2005 09:34 PM

I used my 10 watt Ibanez, my IJS40(which you also have, right?) and a 10 dollar Labtec computer mic from Walmart. Oh, and Audacity for my recording software. It works quite well for the money.

ATM 07-18-2005 09:36 PM

Man, I have a cheap mic like that too, but my tone is nowhere near that thick. And I use Audacity.

Hmm..I wonder what I am doing wrong.

Hehe, that's right. I like 'em.

The name is that of a New Age group that tends towards the syrupy, but one of their songs, "The Otherworld," has become a recent favorite of mine because it has a GREAT acoustic guitar part. That's how I came about the name anyway.

magicbus 07-18-2005 09:55 PM

How's everyone doing?

I was at Guitar Center, then I went to my friend's to play poker.

On the down side, I still can't decide on an acoustic, but on the positive side, I won 12 dollars.

In 3 days, it won't be active in your bloodstream, however, it takes a week for it (the THC) to be completely undectable via bloodtest. And I am afraid you are stuck with it in your body fat for a few years to come.

Sup?

Basically, you really need 2 solid weeks to get rid of any THC in your system.

Drink a lot of cranberry juice and water.

The day of the test, drink a ton of water, especially right before you go in.

When did you smoke and when is the test?

Lunch 07-18-2005 10:01 PM

I smoked a week ago, but only two hits, then I smoked three days before that, but again only two hits. And the test is tomorrow/wednesday (maybe).

ATM 07-18-2005 10:01 PM

Make sure you drink a lot of water the day of, and right before you go in.

magicbus 07-18-2005 10:03 PM

What are you getting drug tested for?

Lunch 07-18-2005 10:03 PM

I'm trying to drink a lot right now and at all times leading up to the test.
