Not at all.

Hey what has 9 arms and sucks?
 Just cause their drummer is one armed doesnt mean you have to make fun of them

BludgeonySteve 01-30-2005 09:25 PM

Yeah. I don't like them and I don't consider them classic rock either.

Johnny B. Good 01-30-2005 09:26 PM

Well I was wondering because I just heard them on the radio

CaptainWaits 01-30-2005 10:40 PM
I don't care for Thin Lizzy that much, but I'm glad you got a good album.
Yeh, it's a great album, and I saw them live with Deep Purple too, and I thought they killed Deep Purple

kurt98 01-30-2005 10:47 PM

Def Leppard kicks butt you fools. BRING'IN ON THE HEARTBREAK WOO!

Illmatic 01-30-2005 11:02 PM

No...Def Leppard sucks.

blue3 01-30-2005 11:09 PM
Check out this band... www.soundclick.com/skavenger....

They came to Regina = they must suck.

It sounds to me you are just part of the band, and are trying to advertise your own music or something.

and to contribute to the thread:

Piper at the Gates of Dawn=amazing music, not really any guitar solos.
Not a very big fan of Def Leppard, too cheesy
I have Live and Dangerous, it's a good live album, although Thin Lizzy are basically known to the world as one hit wonders...and I sorta agree.

StreetlightRock 01-31-2005 04:34 AM

haha, hey, give the one armed guy some credit, its not particularty easy to pull off a drum roll with - which he can do.

DVG.
Hey do you guys like Def Lepard?
Just wondering
Not really, there's better going around thats for sure.

He actually had electronic drums that could be activated with his foot. So if he wanted a drum roll, or fill, or even solo...he could just press buttons with his feet. That more than makes up the lack of an arm. I actually don't mind his drumming though, my brother always plays one of his songs on drums and it's very catchy.

What does everyone think of Yes?

Take your pick of Like/Dislike/Who the Hell is that?

I'm just curious because I am on the biggest Yes kick. I just bought their '73 2-disc "Tales From Topographic Oceans", and I have been listening for near an hour and am still on track 3. And dammit, I love it.

pigonthewing82 01-31-2005 01:53 PM

who in here has heard the woodstock cd. imo its the best classic rock live album. i think you really havent fully expirenced classic rock till youve heard it

I love Yes, Fragile and The Yes Album are both classic.

And yesterday I got Widespread Panic-Ball, I just started listening to it and it's quite good. Dave Schools is such a great bassist.

Phantasm 01-31-2005 03:52 PM

i saw yes in concert a few years ago. i was a little disappointed.
You guys need to hear them do blackbird.
I love that cover.

Alessandro 01-31-2005 04:03 PM

Are there any Traffic fans in here? I think they´re an underrated band, they have many different and cool songs, but most of people don´t even know that Traffic ever existed... They´re one of my favorites classic rock bands.

Yeah everybody has heard "Dear Mr Fantasy" wether they know it or not. I've never really gotten into them though.

Woodstock 01-31-2005 04:49 PM

I didn't like CSN's cover of Blackbird. I think that's an uncoverable song.

Against Miik! 01-31-2005 04:59 PM

I like it. Maybe not better, but its still a good version.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 01-31-2005 05:00 PM

I might be mistaken, but didn't traffic's drummer die earlier this morning/yesterday?
