Yeah, his performance was pretty fantastic, but obviously his death is going to be a major factor if he does get an oscar.

See, I was under that impression too, how he would get an Oscar nomination because he died or something.

Then you watch the movie and see that he actually does deserve one. Ledger sort of transcends acting. Instead of seeing someone act out a part perfectly, it's more like you're just watching someone be who they really are. Ledger doesn't act. He is the Joker.

Best scene in the movie, though, has to go to Eckhart. The last scene between Two Face and Gordon...holy ****. Absolutely intense.
