I have one, it works awesome.

I've heard rumors that a while after you get it, the hard drive on it fails and your whle music library is lost. Hasn't happened to me yet

It isn't as small as the iPod either, so it probably won't fit in your pocket, but it has a little belt strap thingy. I never use it though.

Besides, Ipod batteries die out and cost loads to replace.

I think so, haven't done that before though.
