So I saw Architects the other day. I was very impressed. One of the better live bands that I've seen, and I've been to a lot of shows. They were very energetic throughout their whole set and sounded great. They play some techy stuff and still managed to rock out. Their singer said "cheers" a lot, which was kind of funny. They were really all you could want in a metal band, but the crowd didn't get too into them, which annoyed the singer. He kept saying things like "not that you care" etc between songs. I felt bad for them cause they played awesomely and they didn't get much response from the crowd, which consisted of lots of 16 year olds. I felt old. I got two t-shirts:
and a blue one with a giant whale on it.
The cheers thing is just an english quirk :p Too bad kids over there are fags tho' :( I know loads of younger teens who absolutely rave over Archtects already. Could be the fact that they're from this country tho'. |
Nice shirt but I'm not huge on the pink.
Too bad the crowd wasn't into them but I bet once Architects get bigger all those lil kids will be raving about them on their myspaces.
Yeah I don't think mine is pink, but I don't have a problem either way. It's only a matter of time before they get big over here, especially being on Century Media now. They'll start pushing them a bit and they'll be the next Parkway Drive. |
A much much better Parkway Drive.

Effin a!

It's only right tbh considering how hard they work too. I mean 3 albums of high quality in under 4 years and they're still very young.

well you see their whole idea of playing music isnt to be AS BRUTAL AS CAN BE im so pissed that im too broke to catch them at all on this tour :( |

True! They have a bright future ahead of them. Mappy: Go sell some stuff or something! It's their first US tour!! |
yeah i missed them :( i did see underoath last night though and that was legendary. talked to chris dudley for like 30 minutes about random **** like GY!BE and Adam D.'s producing habits (the latter was ****ing hilarious)
|
Oh yeah? Who else was on that tour?
|
TDWP (i think i am the only R&Mer than likes them) and saosin. they were both great. cove seriously wins forever as a vocalist. and they played 7 years like flawlessly, cove's screaming is top notch tbh.
|
TDWP isn't bad IMO, just not remotely unique and there are better generic bands than them.
|
I don't like where this thread is going.....Chris Dudley.......TDWP.....Cove's singing....
|
Ey I quite like Saosin tbh.
|

yo mom didn't like where my weener was goin. oh! and yeah, saosin rules, but isn't metalcore at all. Underoath slays though. |
js about saosin tbh
|
they're not bad
their new stuff sounds a bit heavier, but their s/t was pretty good i must say |
Saosin and TDWP were both good live shows.. so meh.
I still can't believe I got to the venue just as Architects set was ending.. they were probably the best act there that night [[ well i dunno, SS and BtM were both pretty wicked ]] |
yo mom didn't like where my weener was goin.
oh! and yeah, saosin rules, but isn't metalcore at all. Underoath slays though.
I'm sure any girl doesn't like where your weener is going :naughty:. Saosin suck, Underoath aren't bad but Chris Dudley is a big loser. |
dude no way. chris dudley is very far from a loser. he's such an awesome dude. saosin also don't suck.
and i haven't had any complaints once it's in =D |
Chris Dudley looks like a retard, especially the way he "rocks out", and he has been put on the back burner ever since TCOT (for good reasons).
Name one sick electronic part he has done and don't mention those laughable, skipable electronic tracks he does. He is the most useless member of the band by far. Saosin just plain suck, minus the drummer. I still listen to that ep with Green on it and was looking for to their debut till I actually heard it. |
