Why did you post a single rolling eye smiley as a reply to my post?

I apologize, I don't buy into the whole "magik" thing. I guess I'm an ignorant poser to be scorned and ridiculed by the true followers of Tool.

toaster, you're one of the few people who fell for my whole "CD next week" joke. I've been doing it for some time to people who just come in the thread and go "HEY GUYZ WENZ DA NEW T00L CD OUT?!1??.

Thats why he rolled his eyes at you.

Toaster 11-29-2005 07:38 PM

Toaster 11-29-2005 10:08 PM

The best part is, I bet this guy at school "1000 dollars" that the album is coming out next week. Have your laughs.

But I still don't know when the album is being released.

Otherside 11-29-2005 10:12 PM

No one else does either :/

Hygiene becomes somewhat of a complex after spending a week in a tent.

Otherside 11-29-2005 10:19 PM

Tool > Hygiene.

Fact.

Amazon has just posted a list of CDs to be released on January 3rd...anyone want to guess who's not listed?

Even if the band are finished recording, they haven't a clue when they're going to release the album. It takes time for Adam to draw eyeballs.

Dr. Jake Destructo 11-29-2005 10:32 PM
It takes time for Adam to draw eyeballs.
Maybe if Adam = Cam De Leon or Alex Gray.

I guess that's why I'm the noob.

Adam did the Undertow album front thing, if I remember correctly.

Dr. Jake Destructo 11-29-2005 11:05 PM

The Ænima artwork was done by Cam De Leon, and Lateralus was done by Alex Gray. Both are amazing artists, but I tend to prefer Alex Grey, just because his style is just way more original than pretty much anything I've ever seen. Someone of you who appreciate the Lateralus artwork should check out his site sometime.

I've seen his site, even used some of the artwork for school projects. Very interesting stuff.

They are both amazing artist but i do prefer Alex Grey, the guy is so unique, another great artist even though he has nothing to do with tool is Tony Koehl.

Thats Blair Mc Kenzy Blake, the moderator of toolband.com who we all love for his clear and concise news about tool....am I right??!!!!

Out of ten how would you all rate Blair as a moderator (or what ever his "job" is called!!)
.............Well??

Come on its not like we have anything else to talk about!

misunderstood 11-30-2005 04:44 PM

Toolband was updated again today with some 'news' on the Schism and Parabola DVDs. And some other strange message.

Dr. Jake Destructo 11-30-2005 04:48 PM

Blair is Tool online PR fag, basically.

Is it just me, or is Toolband not letting anyone else onto the site?

misunderstood 11-30-2005 05:25 PM

^^I'm not having any trouble getting onto Toolband. I'm actually having a hard time with this site at the moment.

Dr. Jake Destructo 11-30-2005 06:00 PM

I got to Toolband, and yeah, mx has been having constant lagging problems the last few days. :-/

Thanks to Tojes Dolan, I acquired a 26 minute version of Disposition/Reflection featuring Robert Fripp on guitar.

ATTN: This is a bootleg with no copyright, therefor if you suspend the link, or if I get banned, gtfo. :)

Enjoy, people. I only just finished downloading it, so I'm only into Disposition as we speak(24 minutes to go \m/) but so far, it is amazing. I've always thought Disposition was amazing, but live, it's even more of a trip. :p

In my opinion, one of the best artists of recent times is Clyfford Still, who was an abstract expressionist. His paintings are primarily centered around textures and the ambience of experimental formations, usually without any true decipherable form. Another great painter is Salvador Dali, but most of you probably know about him.

Look at my new spiffy shirt. :D

Kage 11-30-2005 08:23 PM

That's an awesome shirt; I've had the same one for a long time, but it is now way too small. :(

dUSK 11-30-2005 09:21 PM

 I'm wearing that shirt right now!

And what's a guy got to do around here to get the Oklahoma Show uploaded? After a long year I'm finally back on a computer that allows me to download such things.

Blizzink 11-30-2005 09:31 PM

Heh, I'm such a loser, I've collected more Tool shirts in the past year than there are days of the week.

And yeah, I haven't seen Oklahoma yet, that'd be an upload I'd value highly.

Are Tool still with Volcano? I would think the label would insist that once they actually know the release date, that they let retailers know.
