Good answer, but why the coughing? Do you have a cold?

ATM 01-29-2005 11:46 PM

You guys inspired me to listen to Mountain Jam now.

Well it is awesome. Drumming duet=ownage.

BludgeonySteve 01-29-2005 11:48 PM

I'm glad. Can I inspire you to get Eat A Peach, Brother And Sisters, At The Fillmore East and various other allman albums?

Or will you just start with mountain jam? :p

lunch998 01-29-2005 11:48 PM

And Beginnings.

Get Brothers and Sisters and Beginnings.

*Allman-ifies the CR thread again. We should change our title to Classic Rock/Allman Brothers Thread.

Cool, I'll check them out.

BludgeonySteve 01-29-2005 11:52 PM

Seven Turns and Hittin' the note are good too :). They're just not really classic allman stuff.

ATM 01-29-2005 11:57 PM

I heard a little of Hittin' the Note and liked it.

Wow, R&M is full of idiots, except for this thread and the death heads thread.

BludgeonySteve 01-30-2005 12:01 AM

Yup. The serious music discussion gets done in the big threads (the serious music threads. The community thread is filled with idiots at all times).

ATM 01-30-2005 12:03 AM

Does that mean idiots are drawn to rock and metal?

BludgeonySteve 01-30-2005 12:05 AM

Idiots are drawn to internet forums(period). I'd say that pop punk has it worse than rock and metal. As does the pit.

Who likes Kim Mitchell?

Let me re-phrase that. Who's heard of Kim Mitchell? I assure you guys that he rocks :). He's just straight up hard rock with killer guitar solos.

When I heard it his radio show it struck me as my favourite djing.

BludgeonySteve 01-30-2005 12:07 AM

Oh that's right. He has a radio show. I really need to listen to that some time. I bet I can listen on the internet somewhere.

ya, most likely. You should definitely give it a listen.

Seafroggys 01-30-2005 12:12 AM

I like hard rock with killer guitar solos. Must investigate this guy further...

As for my favorite collaborations, probably John Lennon and Paul McCartney  :D

CaptainWaits 01-30-2005 12:13 AM

K I've been listening to this classic rock station we have, and just every song I hear I've heard before and I like

So somebody just recommend me some good Greatist Hit classic rock albums by classic rock artists

RockAndRoll 01-30-2005 12:16 AM

I like killer guitar solo's but every song is too much, it's too repetitive. You need to use the other alleys of music that will bring you away from the typical verse/chorus/solo structure.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 01-30-2005 12:22 AM

*no topic?*
