Eeeew, I was in kindergarten when you were born.

Stupid childrens
That's creepy.

Electrocution 12-19-2005 08:04 PM

I was probably destroying something or whatever little kids do.

Electrocution 12-19-2005 08:06 PM

Indies, help me with my homework. What's a real-world example of the Bandwagon fallacy? I suppose something in literature/film/theater/graphic novel would work too.

Everyone is calling Illinois the album of the year so you should too.

Maybe I'm mixing up my threads :-/

Radiobass81 12-19-2005 08:59 PM

Bit late in the thread, but happy birthday Dan!

Dog 12-19-2005 09:38 PM

Yeah, happy birthday. I don't think I'd like having a b-day so close to Christmas. :-/

Glitterati 12-19-2005 09:39 PM

A few months ago, I saw this really cool Lou Reed shirt downtown. I think I'm gonna go get it on boxing day :)

I was thinking the same thing.
Yeah, happy birthday. I don't think I'd like having a b-day so close to Christmas. :-/
There was an article in the newspaper today about how much it sucks to have a birthday close to christmas. People say "merry birthday" instead of "happy birthday" and double gift you. Slow news day.

Anxious 12-19-2005 09:59 PM
Slow news day.
One could only assume

Dog 12-19-2005 10:07 PM

Haha, I love slow-news-day-articles. Especially the zany ones chalked full of weird trivia. They're fun.

edit- man that sounds lame.

Luxor 12-19-2005 10:09 PM

Every day is a slow day for the Oakville Beaver.

rofl

The other day our front page article was about how some girl got egged. Why do I GIVE A SHIT?! That's how boring my city is.

I always have a birthday party in January so it's not right next to Christmas. One of my friends has a birthday right on Christmas, and he hates it. It doesn't really bother me though.

I say, go out and cause some mischief and see if you can make it onto the front page.

I seriously would.

There's always articles asking for information about the infamous "G-Mo" tagger. It's my friend Geoff Morris :-\

Daniel! 12-19-2005 11:34 PM

Hooray for spending an hour updating your RYM.

Little Man being Erased 12-19-2005 11:36 PM

Haha. Classic.

I just did a little RYM updating, myself. Not quite an hour worth though.

Daniel! 12-19-2005 11:37 PM

I've put it off for almost 2 months, and I've been doing more downloading than usually lately. I need to break the habit.

Little Man being Erased 12-19-2005 11:41 PM

Yeah, mine's a little easier on the upkeep, considering I don't download anything. I just add albums as I buy 'em.

Daniel! 12-19-2005 11:47 PM

I have essentially no income, but I buy whenever I can.

Little Man being Erased 12-19-2005 11:49 PM

I know what that's like.

Glitterati 12-20-2005 02:03 AM

I'm growing an afro.

br3ad_man 12-20-2005 06:45 AM

pitchfork's list sucks. How can they seriously justify having Sunn 0))), Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party and other ****e and missing out Sigur Ros and Broken Social Scene?

Robert Crumb 12-20-2005 11:54 AM

I love how easily impressed they are when it comes to rap. Tastes be damned, Purple Haze was not that great. And don't get me started on Kanye.

Glitterati 12-20-2005 12:38 PM

I declare today to be a very happy day.

A very lazy day, as well.

Oh God. I didn't even notice that Takk and BSS weren't on there.

What the hell? Fuck Bloc Party when it comes to stuff like this.

Anxious 12-20-2005 01:47 PM

They go hand-in-hand.

I didn't see how Sunn 0))) got on there, great sludge band, but I wouldn't go so far as to put them in their top rankings. Bloc Party gets mediocre at time to me, maybe that's just me though? I haven't heard Franz Ferdinand's new album, but from what I'm hearing its almost the same as their debut.
