I went to some bars, got bored there.
Went into a snackbar, drank my *** off on cheap beer and had political discussions with a friend. After that I don'trememberall that much anymore.
I vaguely remember going back into some bars and that it was snowing when I went home.

Txus 03-22-2008 07:03 AM

My night was pretty cool too. I saw some movies with a couple of dudes from uni, I showed them some good music  and they liked it. After that, we went to see Jesus Funeral March (processions) which were pretty damn cool even though I'm not a christian, it is impossible to not appreciate the artwork on those things.

the2stranger 03-22-2008 07:11 AM

Nice Mike.
Which movies did you watch?

I'm blasting Nadja at an insane volume now, because no one else is around.
This is the way Nadja should be listened to.

Txus 03-22-2008 07:16 AM

The Killing, a film by Stanley Kubrick, it was pretty damn awesome. One of the few Kubrick films I hadn't watch. And we saw The Blues Brothers just for the lol's.

the2stranger 03-22-2008 07:17 AM

Blues Brothers.

Kubrick stuff is nice.

Txus 03-22-2008 07:19 AM

Yeah, dude. The Shining and Full Metal Jacket are some of the best films EVER.

the2stranger 03-22-2008 07:22 AM

So true.

Pff, I'm going to ake a big bowl of yoghurt with fresh fruit to get rid of my lightheadedness.

Transient 03-22-2008 07:24 AM

The Shining is ace and I have A Clockwork Orange but idk if I'm going to watch it tonight. I'll probably just end up watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind after I've finished with Punch Drunk Love and then cry myself to sleep while listening to Say Anything.

S'going to be a good night.

Txus 03-22-2008 07:30 AM

The Shining is definitely one of my favorite horror films. I liked Eternal Sunshine....the first couple of times, now I can't watch that movie again.

I'm probably going out later tonight to my uncles place to eat dinner or something and maybe watch some football.
I'm aiming towards a Ph.D., but if that fails; SGU (The Geological Survey of Sweden), the government agency responsible for studying the landscape, will be my best bet.
Thats pretty cool. A friend of mine has a degree in geography and works for the National Geospacial Intelligence Agency. Its pretty neat stuff. He just got back from Iraq.

the2stranger 03-22-2008 07:44 AM

Holy ****.
Immolation is playing monday, I though I couldn't go.
But I just remember that is 2nd Easter day, so I don't have to work.
:D

That's cool, but I would never want to work for the armed forces again. I've been conscripted once, and that was enough. Damn navy. Cold and windy.

mfb 03-22-2008 07:59 AM
Sweet avatar dude. Where did you find that?
DaveSavesTheDay found it for me. It's Audrina Patridge from The Hills.

Who's yours?
Physical Geography. Probably will be specialising in Geomorphology or Glaciology.
It'd be so cool to say you're a Geomorphologist!

Tyr 03-22-2008 08:08 AM

The downside to that would be that a lot of people have no idea what it means. That could of course be something good, as well.

Transient 03-22-2008 08:12 AM

No offence Dimmu, but the girl in your avatar isn't very attractive :(

muthafunkabass' though.... O_O

mfb 03-22-2008 08:13 AM

^Haha, don't worry your avatar is still the most amazing.

Txus 03-22-2008 08:15 AM

the2stranger 03-22-2008 08:15 AM

Who's Del?

Transient 03-22-2008 08:16 AM
****, the new Del album is BAD :(
This news troubles me greatly.

Hopefully the new 3030 album will be good.

Dimmu Burger 03-22-2008 08:20 AM
Who's yours?
Katee Sackhoff who plays Starbuck on the new Battlestar Galactica.
No offence Dimmu, but the girl in your avatar isn't very attractive :(
Thats ok, I like her and her character is really cool. She looks better on the show honestly, its just one of the few pics that I could find of her in her show digs.

Txus 03-22-2008 08:22 AM
Who's Del?
Yeah, I never thought he would release something BAD, i mean, Hieroglyphics wasn't that great, they had 1 really awesome album and the rest is decent at best. But yeah, it's kinda sad.

new 3030 will be epic, i believe. I have my hopes!! :(

Aight. :p

I'm actually listening to a Deltron track right now, you've been whoring them so much, I need to check them out.

Tyr 03-22-2008 08:28 AM

Deltron 3030 are amazing. I've yet to hear the new Del, though.

Txus 03-22-2008 08:29 AM

haha, it's the best rap act ever.

crazy japs, haha. They do good justice to my avatar.

Tyr 03-22-2008 09:12 AM

Because of all this Del talk, I'm listening to I Wish My Brother George Was Here.

the2stranger 03-22-2008 09:15 AM

Because of all this Del talk I'm listening to Dolorian - Voidwards.
Perfect msic for this kind of weather.
It's been snowing and hailing(sp?( ) and it's dark outside.

But spring started yesterday, I'm not noticing anything. :(
I want warm weather, so I can walk around in shorts amd have a good time.

Txus 03-22-2008 09:18 AM
Because of all this Del talk, I'm listening to I Wish My Brother Georgee Was Here.
Mistadobalina is amazingly good.

I'm listening to Son Lux, amazing music. Bjorn, I think you would love this stuff.

Tyr 03-22-2008 09:18 AM

Hailing is right.

We have the coldest temperatures of the winter now. But it's clear outside, at least.

Right you are, Mike.

Txus 03-22-2008 09:20 AM

It is very cloudy in here, I think it's going to rain.

Tyr 03-22-2008 09:21 AM

Southern Europe, lol.

With a reference to the black metal thread, hailing, as a weather phenomenom sounds pretty funny.

Txus 03-22-2008 09:23 AM

ABBA, lol

Tyr 03-22-2008 09:33 AM
With a reference to the black metal thread, hailing, as a weather phenomenom sounds pretty funny.
At least they aren't pronounced the same way.

I just go into the BM thread for the lulz.
ABBA, lol
I know, right?

Shattered_Future 03-22-2008 09:55 AM

I liked Hieroglyphics...well, Full Circle, anyways. :(

So, out of boredom last night, me and a friend went to see Doomsday. Wasn't terrible for a movie with a terribly crappy plot. Nice and violent, plenty of decapitations, dismembering, etc. I wish they had put Kate Beckinsale in instead of Kate Beckinsale-look alike chick...

It was a nice other-end-of-the-spectrum choice, considering we watched There Will Be Blood Thursday night. Jesus ****ing Christ...THAT was an intense movie.

Txus 03-22-2008 09:59 AM

There Will Be Blood is easily my favorite movie of the year so far.

And Full Circle is meh, I love 3rd Eye Vision.

Shattered_Future 03-22-2008 10:00 AM

I thought No Country For Old Men was better, but Day-Lewis is absolutely incredible in that movie. I don't think I've ever seen acting like that before...

FreeSmells 03-22-2008 10:02 AM
There Will Be Blood is easily my favorite movie of the year so far.
I really really really want to see this. Is it out on DVD yet?

Txus 03-22-2008 10:02 AM

I ****ing hate how No Country For Old Men ends, but that was the whole idea from the brothers....still, TWBB is a bit better in every possible way.

Freesmells: I don't think so.

Tyr 03-22-2008 10:03 AM

I haven't seen No Country for Old Men yet, but I absolutely love There Will Be Blood. Amazing performance by Day-Lewis.

And 3rd Eye Vision's my favourite Hieroglyphics as well.
