The last Canibus I heard was the one that came out two years ago I think. If it's much more of the same, I'll probably pass.

What is everyones opinion on Hi Tek? I'm thinking of getting his 2nd solo album soon, and wondered what everyone though of him. I know that he is a recognized producer, but I don't know much else.

If you want to look into Hi-Tek, get Mood's [I]Doom[/I]. His beats are unreal on that one. His other work is good, but nowhere close to that.

I think it was the original Cincinnati record, featuring Talib Kweli and DJ Hi-Tek's before they got big. I feel it is Hi-Tek's best beats, although the best beats seem to be from Jahson on this. Besides that, it is one of 3 hip-hop albums I have heard where the beats eclipse capable rapping. The other two being DJ Premier's masterpiece on Group Home's [I]Livin' Proof[/I] and Pete Rock killing INI's [I]Center of Attention[/I].
