Suit yourself.

It's pretty good so far, a few songs in.

Oh gawd, it's real.

You are officially the best person ever.

Wyko 10-24-2007 08:18 AM

Mm, I'm 7/10 through now.

Somewhere In The Between (the song) just screams album closer.
And the main hook for forty days reminds me of another Streetlight/Catch song, don't know which.

Great album so far though.

does anybody get what the reference of 'mephisto's cafe' is to? from what i got off wiki i would assume its hell but its kinda vague.

i'm not doing. i gotta stand tall. if i do it now i will just burn it and then i can't justify myself buying it.

Intransit 10-24-2007 09:23 AM

If you can't bring yourself to buy any album by your favorite band, even after already having the songs, I'm sorry, but it's pretty difficult for me to consider you even a fan.

SkaRobotArmy 10-24-2007 12:32 PM

probably my favourite band, i'm just cheap and hate paying out huge bucks for a record i already have. especially when most of the money goes to the record shop and label. i support 'em at shows and merch tables, album sales are peanuts.

descendents1 10-24-2007 12:36 PM

i support my favs at shows and merch tables too but buying their albums is very symbolic and a decent contribution to their cause

just buy from a respectable joint like your local punk store to keep them in business and then you help out more than 1 entity

Jessizzle 10-24-2007 01:25 PM

AAAAH so good.

Aficionado 10-24-2007 01:30 PM

I've been able to tolerate for 4 years, I can tolerate another month or so.

Liebensaft 10-24-2007 01:32 PM

Downloading now. Figures it leaks right after OiNK dies.

bout a guy selling his soul to the devil

ZaaR 10-24-2007 02:49 PM

just downloaded, currently listening to the first track

asdf 10-24-2007 03:10 PM

I enjoyed it. I think I need to give it another listen yet, but it's good.

albert_bass 10-24-2007 03:29 PM

I loved this album, the only thing I feel lacking is some kind of "A better place a better time" track. You know that kind of simplicity yet perfection and the masterful build up of the song? I mean that kind of track. Having it in the middle of the album would make this an almost perfect album.

Of course I have to listen to it much more but the first impression was neat.

Look what Spain turned up!

Catchthe22 10-24-2007 03:50 PM

I like it. The beginning of One Foot on the Gas pretty much blows but its solid overall. A little more upbeat than Everything Goes Numb.

i liked the beginning of one foot more than any other part of the album i think.

MBS 10-24-2007 06:01 PM

Oh my goodness, thank you so much whoever provided that link. Listening to it now. :)

DougJI 10-24-2007 06:55 PM

tomas seems to be able to write an entire album worth of songs that all sound similar stylistically at the same time. he'd be hailed as the song writer of the century if keasbey, numb, and SiTB were all mixed together.

Liebensaft 10-24-2007 07:24 PM

Yeah, so many of these songs sound ridiculously similar. I'm having trouble really getting into this album. It's not bad, it's just...more of the same. It hasn't done anything yet to blow me away, but I'm only halfway through.

StreetlightRock 10-24-2007 07:27 PM

I actually agree with you, and i'm halfway too.... =/

Catchthe22 10-24-2007 07:29 PM

it probably wont change with the 2nd half

iliketoplaydrums10111 10-24-2007 07:45 PM

listening

it's pretty good but i agree with the above 3 posts

slm_bean 10-24-2007 11:41 PM

link is dead reup the link please...please

Transient 10-25-2007 08:17 AM

Title track slays.

Misanthropic 10-25-2007 08:22 AM
Here's To Life? Yeah, me too.
I think they did that on purpose, it's really quite similar.

It's "more of the same" yes, but you can't expect every band to reinvent something with every album. There are some mind blowing songs on there IMO, probably get into it more soon.

If the link's really dead, try this page:

SitB is pretty much what I expected, and that's a very good thing.

Jessizzle 10-25-2007 01:22 PM

i asked for EGN 2
and thats what i got.

Liebensaft 10-25-2007 01:32 PM

I think the second half is a little stronger than the first. I've given it about two full listens, and stand by what I said before.

Win A Rabbit 10-25-2007 02:28 PM

The start of We Will Fall Together gets me in a great mood. :)

Overall very solid.

100% agree

The second half is better than the first IMO

This album is growing on me quite a bit.

StreetlightRock 10-25-2007 06:55 PM

^ That.
