It's also on amazon, which must mean it's an offical bootleg.

I like the cover very much.
Far as I know, Light Fluffly Clouds isn't a Floyd cover... that song creeped me out when I was 12. I heard them do a trance version of Time. It sucked.
Light Fluffy Clouds isnt the orignal Floyd name, if you listen to it, it is Floyd's 1st track of the album Meddle, the track is titled "One Of These days" or " A Pillow of Winds" cant remember which one it is, but it is FLoyd.

DeusExMachina 03-03-2005 07:47 PM

Really. Well, the last time I heard that song was a year or two before I ever heard Meddle, so I don't remember too well. But, thats interesting. I'll have to give it another listen.
From amazon editorial review...

"PULSE DVD was originally scheduled for Christmas release in 2000, but was "bumped" from release indefinitely, and remains unavailable anywhere in DVD format. Oddly, the title was issued as a limited edition DVD (playable on any US DVD machines), and is now OUT OF PRINT."

I think it migh be legit, albeit expensive.
Xmas '00? Yikes. Thats more than four years ago. How long does it take to put a live concert on a DVD... There better be some hot *** special features.

But it'll never compare with Pompeii anyway. Obviously.

DeusExMachina 03-03-2005 07:50 PM

I don't think it's ever going to come out.

The thread I linked to said late march/early april

DeusExMachina 03-03-2005 07:52 PM

Interesting. Maybe it will then.

Post 3000. I rock.

I just finished watching The Wall for the first time today.:D That film is definitely not for small children. I was going to show it to my dad, but I think I've changed my mind about that.

DeusExMachina 03-03-2005 08:04 PM

Hahahaha. I watched it with my dad. He didn't like it. My mom and sister walked into the room right at the nipple shaving scene... they didn't like it too much either.

My dad loved it. He made us watch the movie again with commentary.

Riva 03-03-2005 08:11 PM

My Mum likes it. My sister hates it. My girlfriend likes the music only.

 A mother liking the Wall, kinda ironic.
 A mother liking the Wall, kinda ironic.
My Mum has been in love with PF for ages. It's cool. But yeah, I can get the irony. Kind of like my school teacher who said it was a very well-made movie. :)

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 03-03-2005 08:22 PM

My mom would kill me if she saw it, my dad probably would think it was okay, one of my brothers might like it and the other wouldn't, and the guy I'm sorta dating would probably just say it was okay. None of my friends have even heard of The Wall.

My favorite part is when the teacher picks up the book of poems and starts reading "Money."

Yea that was awsome how they threw that in there. Also some of the animation from The Trial is from Wish You Were Here.

Riva 03-03-2005 08:33 PM

I like the faces on the train in the tunnel. Really scary.

Distant Echoes 03-03-2005 08:35 PM

It was good, but i wish their wouldve been more music. Maybe i should just stick to the album...

Riva 03-03-2005 08:36 PM

That's why you need the album and the movie. It's a complete package.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 03-03-2005 08:37 PM

I didn't know that.

I finally sorted through all of the songs from those PF mixes my friend gave me and I now have : 1 song from PATGOD, 6 from A Saucerful of Secrets, all of Meddle except for Fearless, Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, all of WYWH except for Welcome To the Machine, 7 songs from A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and I'll be getting The Wall within a week.

pigonthewing82 03-03-2005 08:37 PM

My favorite part is the "What Shall We Do Now" song. I really wish they left that on the album. Eh no problem its on it live, and I listen to that more anyway.
Hey.. does anyone know if there's a good PF FAQ site? Similar to Tool's FAQ site? I searched google.. but I'm not exactly sure which ones contain the best info.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)
When Clapton played for Waters did he also sing Gilmours parts? I don't know his voice would different.

magicbus 03-04-2005 07:28 PM
When Clapton played for Waters did he also sing Gilmours parts? I don't know his voice would different.
I don't remember. I think Waters sang the whole time.

Shazzam 03-04-2005 08:26 PM

I'm pretty sure Waters did all the singing, and Clapton just did all the soloing and lead.

pigonthewing82 03-04-2005 08:35 PM
I'm pretty sure Waters did all the singing, and Clapton just did all the soloing and lead.
I don't know how good that would be then I mean Waters had a lot of trouble getting Gilmour's voice done well for Wish You Were Here on In the Flesh.

Broken Arrow 03-04-2005 08:42 PM
I'm pretty sure Waters did all the singing, and Clapton just did all the soloing and lead.
Confirmed. He's voice was pretty dead.
Confirmed. He's voice was pretty dead.
Yeah, I didn't even want to watch the whole thing...His voice is long gone.

magicbus 03-05-2005 12:37 PM

Did you guys see him try to sing on the DSOTM Classic Albums DVD? Pretty bad. Poor Roger :upset:

I laughed when he tried to sing

3FingeredHoek 03-05-2005 05:12 PM

I'm a new fan of Pink Floyd. So can somebody explain to me the whole thing with DSOTM and The Wizard of OZ? I would appriciate greatly.
