There seriously needs to be a stickied thread about what bass to buy in the "300-400 dollar range" for people just starting out cause F[I]U[/I]CKtheres a lot of those threads.

I find so many deals on MX for instruments and then my parents decide AFTER i start to make the deal that I cant do it.

It's a damn shame when your not allowed to spend your own money you work for...

I wanna spend my money, and im allowed to, but noone wanna buy my bass so i can start that guy on my custom one...:lol:

I wanted to trade my SR for that shecter, and buy that fat strat.

Both were a no, so now I have to sell my ibanez to some music shop and then buy a schecter out my own pocket, and spend 300 or so more than I would have to on the fat strat.

on wednesday Seven Generations played a show here and i brought my head because their bassist needed to borrow it. it almost died like 5 times :(. i hate that thing.

I let my friend borrow my head assuming since he was in a band that was sorta well known he knew how to play bass/set up an amp.


I was sorely mistaken... I had to go in and meddle mid-set so that it didn't die because he was stupid and tried to get it to overdrive without knowing how to work it properly. My amp doesn't overdrive in the first place, so it was not a good sound....


Squire+pick+wildly flailing+my amp=****ty tone.
