I'm in Australia and I heard earlier this year a rumour flying around that Iron Maiden was going to head out here for a tour. Apparently the rumour also was that Metallica were gonna head out here with them to make an incredible concert IMO :thumb: Hopefully theres some truth to this and they might be out here next year!

Has anyone heard anything about this, or know if it might be true?

I ain't heard any rumours like that...only rumour I've heard (that was confirmed by a certain Mr. Dickinson) was that they are going to be in Donington next year...I'm not too sure where else tho...

the official line on the site is "some arena and festival dates next year with a back to basics feel and a setlist from the first three albums to support the "EARLY DAYS" DVD
uh oh... the last time they went "back to basics" they came out with no prayer... oh ****!

hmm... a set list from the first 3 albums...I would like to see burning ambition or women in uniform...but I would like to see some of the newer songs...

you probably realise this but none of the songs you actually mentioned are on albums...
Both are B-Sides plus no WAY they are ever gonna play Women in Uniform because the whole band hate it...
any first three album predicted setlists, guys?

I hope to GOD they include Total Eclipse. Best B-side EVAR

It starts out kind of sluggish, which I don't really like. But when the whole band speeds up for the solo... that's just awesome.

I know this... I would like to see them [I]included[/I] in the setlist since they are like the major pre-first album songs.

I never knew the whole band hate, I think its kinda cool.

I also like to see Killers, Phantom of the Opera, Another life, Purgatory, Prodigal son, and maybe remember tomorrow...Wrathchild is overplayed IMO
