I wouldn't get my hopes up for Detox and that Nas/Premo collaboration. Both won't happen probably, although that collab could be hella nice.

So, the Talib Kweli/Madlib collaboration which is to be downloaded for free is pretty fresh. The first 3 tracks and the last track are awesome, the rest is a bit less impressing but they will probably grow on me. It's cool that they're making it available for free.

Rams 01-03-2007 12:22 PM

I don't like Madlib's beats, they ruin most songs.

beso negro 01-03-2007 03:45 PM

The new Dre better come out this year

CabbageStabbage 01-03-2007 11:28 PM

I just listened to Deltron 3030's self titled album.

Whoa

Reccomend some more for a rap/hip hop noob

Hooray for potentially awesome albums. I've got The Liberation, it's a free download. It's pretty fresh.

Edit: I can't believe I said the exact same thing about The Liberation as LF96 did, I didn't even read what he wrote.

raus 01-04-2007 10:25 AM

We Got it For Cheap series are mixtapes. 2 is probably my favorite mixtape, 3 should be better.

pixiesfanyo 01-04-2007 11:02 AM

Nas's Lost Tapes 2 is suppose to come out sometime.

Woot? :(

Anyone knows what's up with the Mind Fusion stuff, at Madlibs myspace?

Kyle 01-04-2007 12:52 PM

I like most Madlib stuff, i'm always excited by his new releases. Nothing tops Shades of Blue in my eyes though.

Sepstrup 01-04-2007 01:32 PM

A lot of stuff on that list should be cool. I'll be sure to check out Pharoahe Monch and Deltron 3030.

Deltron 3030 is an awesome album. "Madness" is my favorite hip/hop song atm.

ATM 01-04-2007 08:11 PM

The new One Bee Lo is going to be so ****ing good.

If you haven't heard S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M yet, get it.

JonG 01-04-2007 08:31 PM

My sister was ridin' around with One Be Lo when he came here. She thought it was pretty cool.

Any albums like Only Built For Cuban Linx and Liquid Swords?

ATM 01-04-2007 08:33 PM

You want other Wu Tang solo albums?

edit: wait she met him?

subin 01-04-2007 08:44 PM

Anyone heard "Donuts" by J Dilla? I'd say its one of my favorite albums of 06'. If your a fan of hip-hop you owe it to yourself to check this out.

Lunch 01-04-2007 08:50 PM

What's the general feeling about the newest Lupe Fiasco album? I heard it today and liked it a lot.

ATM 01-04-2007 09:14 PM

I'm not big on him, but I know a few people who are.

"Daydreamin" is currently my favorite song but the album as a whole didn't strike me as anything above normal.

"Daydream" by Gunter Kallman Choir

gaslight 01-04-2007 11:29 PM

I got Jehst Presents: Underworld Epics yesterday, its pretty sweet. The remix of Money In The Bank is my favourite song on there at the moment.

I love it heaps, can't wait to see him live at Big Day Out in a few weeks. His lyrics are sick, and the beats are pretty wicked. Daydreamin' is also one of my favourites, along with Real and probably Kick, Push.

raus 01-05-2007 01:39 AM

Lupe sucks

Smoke bowls and listen to Yukmouth

Lupe is tight.

LF96 01-05-2007 12:16 PM

Darn, now I want to hear this track (Daydream by Gunter Kallman Choir, that is) but I don't seem to find it on my crappy downloading-programme. An upload would be very much appreciated. :)

Rams 01-05-2007 04:28 PM

Why is there another Big L album coming out (Real Legends Never Die)? Is he going to summon the power of 2pac and release garbage after his death for the sake of releasing garbage?

AZ's Doe or Die is fun. Dude has a nice flow.

Scott Herren 01-05-2007 04:55 PM

Anyone heard MC Devvo and Shady Piez? Check out the song Donny Soldier.

Yea, Doe or Die is nice.

Anyone here heard Kno from Cunninglynguists "White Album"?

It's really damn good.
