are they pop-punk or indie(which the singer looked) or hardcore(which the bassist and guitarist looked with their stupid hoodies and baseball caps.
or nu-metal(with the crappy DJ bloke)?

I mean WTF??

I'd class them a mix of metal/rock/pop/punk/jazz/funk.

That is quite a blend.......

Brew 08-27-2005 01:10 PM
That is quite a blend.......
I've only got one album by them (Morning View) which was released mid-way into their career, I've heard that they started out quite Jazzy and Funky, then moved into Rock/Metal/Punk and these days they're kinda Pop/Rock.

Shattered_Future 08-27-2005 01:35 PM

I've got a few albums by them...they blend a bunch of different styles.

Make Yourself is a harder album, but it does have Battlestar Scratchalita (somewhere along those lines), which is funk with a DJ...

Steerpike 08-27-2005 01:45 PM

Incubus are probably the most difficult band to classify in modern rock.

Lord Abortion 08-27-2005 01:46 PM

Good song from an alright band.

The Coronation is a great song.

I'm yet to get into them. I sampled their Self-Titled and it was fairly good, but then when I listened to their newest release, "Grime VS. Granduer" I was dissapointed. So I'm not sure what to expect of them.

I thought this was funny because he definetly chose the wrong metal thread to say that in.

I just picked up Luca Turilli- King of The Nordic Twilight, and i must say its an amazing album. Has anyone else heard this album? if so what are your thoughts.

Good of you to get that album. I don't own it yet, but I've listened to it a couple of times. Just costs to much where I can find it. "Black Dragon" is a killer track on that album. Luca's great, but I think he falls a bit short of Rhapsody.

RiceMonster 08-28-2005 11:22 PM

I like the song I've heard from him. I remember trying to decide if I should buy that album. I guess I will.

Kronos 08-29-2005 03:26 AM

Hi again good people - I have been offline due to catastrophic 'pooter failure. It is dead. Until I can get it fixed the only time I'll be able to be on here is whilst I'm at work. Like now, on Bank Holiday Monday. Lucky me :upset:

Iron Bars 08-29-2005 04:54 AM

I should realy start watching some more manga, it's been to long since I brushed up on my japanees culture.

Steerpike 08-29-2005 05:04 AM

Technically, it's reading more manga, watching more anime. Watching a comic book doesn't really work. :p

Iron Bars 08-29-2005 05:32 AM

Technically your right ;) but if said manga comic is in japanees it would be watching cuz I cant read said language. Luckily they (badly) translated most of those.
