Aristotle is my homeboy, but I can see your point.

I screwed up my chemistry prac exam because of cursed maths.

Well I have a love/hate with Aristotle. A lot of his ideas were really important, but the rest are just arbitrary and random and allegedly set back science to an astronomical degree.

But mostly I'm just pissy because I dont want to be here and I can't really bother paying attention because I'm hungry and barely awake.

And he's talking about brackets and exponents and it's making me think back to grade 8 math.

Plus I hate that a lot of these logical examples are random and stupid. And that they dont have to actually be true, they just have to follow, regardless of whether or not Adam is a crocodile who loves Eve if she's blonde

Riva 11-30-2007 08:37 AM

Poor Tyler. :(

I am tired also, but that's because I'm on the other end of the 24 hour clock.

gmoneyguy 11-30-2007 09:59 AM

I'll hopefully be transferring to Mississippi State University to study architecture.

the2stranger 11-30-2007 10:16 AM

Pretty sweet.

Can anyone tell me how I add new albums to my RYM account? :-\

Tyler 11-30-2007 10:19 AM

Find the album, on the album page, it should be there.

I own this: click that
Then click CD, Digital, Vinyl, etc.

You can use the Go! tab, too.

the2stranger 11-30-2007 10:20 AM

Thanks.
I haven't used the site in ages, so I was a bit confused. :-\

Tyler 11-30-2007 10:21 AM

Ha yeah. What's your s/n? I'll add you while I'm in class because I'm clearly not paying attention.

dick suck mayhem 11-30-2007 10:25 AM

Guys, my ears hurt.

In before bad music jokes.

Steerpike 11-30-2007 10:29 AM

Did anybody here watch Phenomenon when it was running?

gmoneyguy 11-30-2007 10:30 AM

The Travolta movie?

Tyler 11-30-2007 10:31 AM

I saw some clips of Criss Angel being a faggot but otherwise nah.

gmoneyguy 11-30-2007 10:32 AM

oh lol. I saw the commercials and said fuck that shit.

Tyler 11-30-2007 10:34 AM

I never saw a commercial or it ever on TV, I only knew of it from aforementioned clips of Criss Angel being a faggot and through Steerpike randomly mentioning it

I'm MAkerfeldt Petey. Add me if you want.

Russell 11-30-2007 11:38 AM

How time consuming is it to start up a RYM profile?

the2stranger 11-30-2007 11:42 AM

Quite time consuming, but it's the best thing around, or atleast, that I've found.

How do I delete an album of my account? :-\

I added you Lee. :)

Tyler 11-30-2007 11:43 AM
How time consuming is it to start up a RYM profile?
Depends on how much music you have. It took me like three days to add my music in, now I just add it progressively.

Steerpike 11-30-2007 11:45 AM

Only reason I bring it up is because I've found a new YouTube meme.

Since Criss called out the spirit medium dickhead, now everyone is posting clips of the other performers saying, "This guy is a fraud. I have absolutely no proof of that, I just wanted to be the first one to say it." I'm paraphrasing of course.

Guy Bavli performed a stunt where he stopped his heart. Bit of a lie there as you can't stop your heart, you can only suppress your heartbeat, which I believe is what he did. Still pretty fucking impressive. But as with anything on YouTube, you have armchair critics throwing out one-liner accusations of Guy faking it, or offering vague allusions to possible "flaws" in the performance in a thoroughly useless attempt to appear smart.

Russell 11-30-2007 11:46 AM

I have about 500 albums, hmm I may start one.

Isn't suppressing a heart beat a part of yoga?

My sister can stop her heartbeat, it's some weird medical condition.

Steerpike 11-30-2007 11:50 AM
My sister can stop her heartbeat, it's some weird medical condition.
The heartbeat is controlled by the medula oblongata. It's physiologically impossible to stymie that. However, through muscle control, one can suppress and slow down the heartbeat.

I don't believe I've ever heard of a case of someone actually being able to shut down their heartbeat at will. That's like shutting down the optic nerves at will.

And let's assume it could be done. Not such a hot idea. Besides the obvious dangers of cutting off circulation to the brain and causing irreparable damage, the chance that the blood is given to settle could result in clots which would collect over time and eventually cause a stroke.
