I'm not sure I know what you mean about "full screen apps". on the screenshots I have a Web browser. it is a window. if you mean that I don't have several windows on each work space you are wrong as well. when I code I usually have a bunch open, like so:

proprietary software is inherently *bad*. it prevents sharing and further development. imagine if someone figured out how to build nigh completely earthquake-proof buildings, and that technology wasn't shared. how is that not unethical?
