Fix'd

Aaaron- Those look wicked tasty. I wanted one, but the whole crunch thing deterred me. :(

Jom- I still use it. The Lars Ulrich N Chewing Hybrid just likes to make people mad.

Bartender 07-17-2005 07:19 PM

So, is my To Ban list to consist only of the guy who ruined it for me, the other guy who ruined it for me, and (regrettably) YDload, or are there more?

EDIT: Okay..goodnight, anyway.

RCA 07-17-2005 07:37 PM

Photoshopped though.

Is this someone that normally comes in here that got a name change?

Cain 07-17-2005 09:14 PM

Anybody here have any Deep Purple MP3s, or perhaps "Rock Bottom" by UFO and "Prelude and Fugue in C Major" from The Well-Tempered Clavier by Johann Sebastian Bach? I need those songs for my next installment for the thread, especially "Highway Star." I got songs off iTunes for 'em, but the files are MPEG4 and worse, they're protected, so they can't be burned to disk, converted, or sent to anyone else. I already checked in the YSI thread and nothing doing. Steerpike, you got any of those things? Deep Purple, Rainbow, UFO?

Byzantine: Dragonuv is RCA

EDIT: I didn't spoil anything for anyone, Harry Potter people. Except the dating, but that happens early.

EDIT 2: **** me. Sorry. This is why y'all should have gotten name changes earlier.

RCA 07-17-2005 09:16 PM
Byzantine: Dragonuv is RCA
Fixed. :D

ATM 07-17-2005 09:17 PM

I've got Highway Star, one minute.

Kurtz 07-17-2005 09:17 PM

Photoshopped or not, that's awesome.

Cain 07-17-2005 09:20 PM
I've got Highway Star, one minute.
Thank you very much. I really need that one.

Since Alex Skolnick is mentioned in this week's installment, I had a really cool track of him playing a jazz version of Highway Star with the Alex Skolnick Trio, but of course now I can't use it. Stupid ****ing iTunes.

Oh, I love his jazz band.

Don't know if you saw my last post, but I'm RCA, not 88FJ. :p

I'm uploading some Deep Purple tracks now.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-17-2005 09:41 PM

Right now, I just played the funnest jam session ever. /cues circle time

It all began when the cable from my guitar to my processor began to puke out on me. I decided to take out my processor and just play guitar to amp. You know, kick it old school. My amp is a 10 watt Ibanez practice crapbox, so I was kind of sad about that, but instead, I just cranked up the volume and overdrive, and jammed for 20 minutes at full blast. I can't really describe how fun it was, but I'm sure some of you guys know what I'm talking about. Just sitting down, wailing on your guitar. It was amazing.

RCA 07-17-2005 09:45 PM

I may have the same amp as you.

Yeah, I know how you feel. You don't have to worry about equipment as much as what you're playing. It "frees your mind" so to speak.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-17-2005 09:48 PM

It's not like I'm constantly fiddling with the pedal though, but something about that analog overdrive just owns digital effects.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of guitar do you have?

RCA 07-17-2005 09:52 PM

I've got a Jackson Soloist-1, a Hamer Flying V, and a starter pack Ibanez.

I'll chat with you about guitars tommorow sometime, I need some sleep. Yardwork wore me out today.

Cain 07-17-2005 09:52 PM

Thanks, I edited my post. You can see. :p

Thanks for the uploads, Chris and JP.

Now if someone had "Prelude in C" by Bach I'd be pretty much set. And "Difficult to Cure" by Rainbow.

Illmatic 07-17-2005 10:10 PM
Ah, okay. Good song whoever did it. I love the guitar in the SLF version..what's the Marley version like?
It's a lot softer than a normal Wailers tune, I think Rita wrote it instead of Bob. I still like it a lot.

I don't fancy myself a Harry Potter fan...I don't like fantasy all that much, plus the writing itself is very dull.

Dammit, Lucas. If you had asked that question when I was online, I could have given you a choice of 4 versions of Highway Star, and about 60 other Deep Purple songs. Aaaand, I can try to upload those two tracks for you. One second.

EDIT: Did you want it in C Major, C Minor, Pipe Organ, Concerto, Violin and Harp?

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm in a really, really shitty mood, so I'm gonna go do some quick postcount++ in the pit and then go to sleep before I go crazy. It's 4:41 AM. Expect my triumphant return at around 11:00 AM.

EDIT: Wow, they're really being dicks about the Harry Potter thing in the Pit.

G'Night, dude. Sleep well.

Justin, who's the bloke in your avatar?

Fans of Emmy Rossum, I am uploading three tracks from the Phantom Of The Opera (movie) soundtrack, possibly the best soundtrack that I have ever heard.

The character Holly, the ships computer, played by Norman Lovett (sp?) from Red Dwarf

Riva 07-18-2005 06:03 AM

Awesome. I have yet to see Red Dwarf, but Bartender told me all about it.
