I knew you were kidding.

BludgeonySteve 01-29-2005 07:49 PM

Well good.

Greendale is a great Neil Young album. It's only from 2003 too. Neil has been more or less consistant for his whole life :)

Illmatic 01-29-2005 07:50 PM

I heard his career pretty much died in the 80's...

jpj 01-29-2005 07:52 PM

That's what happens when folk rockers make techno rock albums or whatever that weird thing was in the 80's.

Illmatic 01-29-2005 07:53 PM

Actually, now that you mention it, I heard that he spent most of the 80's making horrible albums to get his label to drop him.

BludgeonySteve 01-29-2005 07:54 PM

The 90s were great, mind you. Ragged Glory and Harvest Moon are both amazing.

edit: almost forgot freedom!

Yea, that's what I saw on some biography about him. And one one of them was like electronicy.

BludgeonySteve 01-29-2005 07:56 PM

Okay fine. 70s and 90s were good. That's 20 years of pwnage...

I hated it but it had a song on it that was about a guy on 9\11 called his wife and said "Roll On" when he was on the plane that crashed in Penn. Which was Pretty cool.
Man, last week I bought Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" and I can't stop listening to it. Great guitar work by Mr. Gilmour. And to think they'e just regular blues licks, nothing fancy
New to Floyd ehh?

Illmatic 01-29-2005 08:08 PM

Look at his user title...he clames to be a PF fan, yet he doesn't have The Wall or Dark Side of the Moon.

Interesting.

Illmatic 01-29-2005 08:12 PM

Who was that "noob" directed to?

BludgeonySteve 01-29-2005 08:14 PM

It was directed at the guy who claims to be a floyd fan. I guess you could be a fan with Animals, WYWH, Meddle and PATGOD...

jpj 01-29-2005 08:15 PM

I like Pink Floyd.

Also the only way it is exceptable for a Floyd fan to not have DSOTM and The Wall is if they have everything else they ever did.

Illmatic 01-29-2005 08:15 PM

I doubt it, though. I don't know a single PF fan who doesn't own The Wall or Dark Side.
