so, over the last week i've been learning to play Teen Town, and i've found that it sounds much harder than it really is.
i mean, i can basically play it perfectly, and when i finish memorizing it, i'll have a jazzy new song to play whenever i feel the urge.

YEah it isnt the hardest song out thier but its really fun to play and its also very technical.

n00b question: who plays Teen Town? I've heard of it only from you guys.

That's weird, I found it the exact opposite. I always thought that it didn't sound that hard at all, but when I learned it, it was a bitch to get right.

Then again I only tried a few times.

Plus I suck at bass. :p

I had to have a horn player I know play the horn part so I could get the timing down right.

i just thought it would be harder because Jaco's playing is fast and such, but Teen Town just isn't as difficult as i expected.
maybe my skill with fingerstyle playing is just progressing.

Hm...just curious..when you guys are buying a band cd or downloading a song..do you like to get live stuff or the normal albums?

I like both. Live stuff can be better sometimes but I always download studio stuff if I havent heard the song before.

so today i got a supposed love note from some girl who is in a couple of my classes. i couldn't tell if it was a serious thing or not because this guy i know gave it to me from her while we were in class, but when he was doing it these girls were all giggly and sh[B][/B][B][/B]it, but girls are always like that. so, whatever, i guess i'll find out in the coming days/week.
meh, whatever, just thought i'd share that...from how i described, anyone have any ideas if it was serious or not?

the one girl was at first like "no, don't!" to the guy who brought it over.
