I still need to hear the new one, but 666, Kruzifixxion and VVorldVVithoutEnd are so ****ing good, especially Kruzifixxion.

darkthrone isn't even that good. abitns isn't a bad album and neither is TH, but its just standard black metal. nothing special about it really.

im just saying its nothing really spectacular. there's band that started in the 2000's that have made better musical progress than they ever did.

their new stuff is by far the best, and it's exactly why i love darkthrone. they just make awesome music in general.

i have just never understood why everyone likes them so much. i used to listen to them a lot until i realized there really wasn't anything special about it... there's just so many other bands that do their (old) style better.

i think their new stuff is worthless, but since its darkthrone people will eat it up.

not really, a lot of fans don't like it. it's super unconventional. they completely changed up the direction they were going in.
