That was for iTunes?
It works in iTunes

Edit to Simple Man: Sorry if I've been confusing you, I thought you wanted to get instructions on how to import into iTunes from the iTunes window, not from WMP...I have no clue how to do that.

Permanent Solution 02-21-2005 04:46 PM
I'm so extremly confused.

I don't have Kazaa anymore so I want to look the songs up on Media Player and transfer them over to iTunes, How do I do that?
where are your music files located?

Simple Man 02-21-2005 04:47 PM

I found the Songs on MP and saved them in a "Sample Playlist" folder thingy in MP.

ATM 02-21-2005 04:48 PM

Sup.

Mister_Che 02-21-2005 04:48 PM

Ahoy

I need solid proof that Lars Ulrich and Alex Van Halen never used electric drums. The drummer in my ex-band is convinced that they did and i'm convinced otherwise. I need to prove his pretentious ass wrong.
So I see

/never quite understood the appeal of complex lyrics
It's just style. Plus, they hold a lot more meaning. Metaphors and the like add depth to an otherwise bland piece.

Dancin' Man 02-21-2005 04:48 PM
Because I write lyrics like this:

So I appreciate complex lyrics.
Exactly.

So you saved a playlist, or the songs in a folder?

Simple Man 02-21-2005 04:50 PM

Songs in a folder, I guess.

ATM 02-21-2005 04:51 PM

I'm at school, with a nice buzz, waiting for my music appreciation class. It's so great, today we are going to talk about the British Invasion.

I wish every band wrote lyrics like yours. Maybe then I'd care about them.

Ok, so in iTunes, go to file->add folder to library->add said file and all will be good.

Ok, So I found out it's not a folder but I did save two songs in there, In the iTunes folder and I did what you said and nothing appeared.

Alternately then, go to the song in the folder, and right click, open with, iTunes (you might have to search for it, it ought to be int program files/iTunes)

I prefer folksy storytelling lyrics myself.

Plus, I don't think that just because you use more complex words and metaphors that lyrics hold much more meaning. Plus, folks like me might confuse you for a pretentious twat.

Simple Man 02-21-2005 05:01 PM

When I right click the song in Media Player I have the options to...

Play
Add to Playlist
Copy to Audio CD
Edit
Delete from Library
Delete from Playlist.

The more "pretentious words" are more direct and to the point, and much less ambiguous. I can say the same thing simply, but it is so ambiguous, and doesn't convey my thoughts properly. For instance, run has something like 100 accepted meanings, so why not use a less ambiguous synonym?

I do get confused on that though :(

Try edit. See if you can locate the file, and then go to the file in a browser.

If it has a different denotation or even a different connotation, it is not a pure synonym !

Did you know that synonyms are rare? :)

I find Jigga more listenable than PE. The main problem with PE is that sometimes they can grow a little tiring because they're so relentless.

And OMGWTF, I thought I was the only person who liked Eazy-E. Rep++ for you.

You didn't even put NWA on there...

ATM 02-21-2005 05:15 PM

I like rappers like Atmosphere, SAge Francis, Demigodz, Deltron 3030, Celph Titled, Akrobatik, Little Brother, Jedi Mind Tricks, Edan, and J Zone.

Thanks though and I can't give you rep yet, Gotta spread it around

If it's a pure synonym, what's the use of it being in the language twice?
