Hello Dead Letters is 2nd for me.. i just prefer ShesTuggin. |
I still cannot get into DMiR. There's nothing outright bad about them it's just very monotonous I guess, their songs just sort of meld together to me.
 what?
I'm sorry, but their songs are much much less samey than any other deathcore in all honesty. |
i really like them tbh
To say their songs meld together is just ignorance.
Listen to From Here I Can See The Shore, Goodbye Tomorrow; Hello Dead Letters, Cursed, and He Said She Said all in a row. Just... what? Wait no, listen to their whole self-titled album all the way through, no song has the same structure, and every single one has a riffing style specific to it, outside the standard melodic parts and breakdowns that define DMIR. |
Alright, I'll listen to the whole thing I guess.

dont act like those albums differ greatly |
and yes dmir is pretty good
i think my favorite ptw lyric is when he says "blew myself" in the realist
blasting BTA
band is such a good listen every once in awhile |
Listening to I Am Abomination. Despite the random gimmicky electronics they're excellent I think.

thats a rarity round here thomas |
i'd say constellations is pretty like like messengers, but it has wank and it tries to be "experimental" or something. the overall vibe of it sounded like messengers though.

i'd say constellations is pretty much like messengers, except it has wank and it tries to be "experimental" or something. overall it sounded like messengers tbh |
What do you guys think of Ion Dissonance?
someone used to say their first album was "their only good one" but i didn't think it was anything too special
I thought they were average, but their album Minus The Herd is a grower.
they're not too shabby Aaron, Minus The Herd did that to me
i'd say constellations is pretty much like messengers, except it has wank and it tries to be "experimental" or something. overall it sounded like messengers tbh
I wouldn't call it wank or experimental, more an improvement over what messengers was (prolly should've been), you know a sort of progression of their sound. All for the good tbh |
Vocals are average, but I dig the drummer. It's been a while since I've listened to metal really.
well its good to see you are man

yea i guess progression of their sound makes sense |
at least it's not messengers II
Been blasting Channel Static Blackout pretty hard lately, **** rules.
Listening to Taken's discography all day. Amazing band.
I haven't listened to Taken in awhile, I don't remember if I liked them or not.
