I just got a real kick in the teeth. Not only is my credit card not working, neither is my debit. And for some reason, both of my parents have turned off their phones so I can't call home and work out a solution.

This is real bad timing in particular because I'm out of groceries and allergy medicine.
Harsh.

I'm still feeling mighty bummed, but listening to depressing music is lightening the mood.

NP: Darkest Hour - With A Thousand Words To Say But One

But I don't have 10,000 yet...

So, last night's show was amazing. One of the best shows my band has played and one of the best metal shows this area has seen in a long time. Such a good show...

We played and we had a real good crowd...our singer got dreadlocks and they looked like crap  ...but the crowd was moshing and stage diving and singin' along, it was great. It seemed to go way fast though...after we played, The Autumn Offering's bass guitarist walked up to me and said "dude, you guys are awesome! It's great to see a bunch of young guys playin' old school metal", and I was like...wow. Then they bought an EP. Wow. We sold 25 EPs out of 72 we had available there. The Autumn Offering, while they may be generic, really weren't that bad. They put on a real good show, so they have my respect. Overall, I can't believe how great a show it was, and how great it went...just awesome awesome awesome. And we have another big show coming up in a couple weeks with 4 national bands...man I am ecstatic.

I can tell that Cannibal Corpse is this guy's favorite band. That Kill shirt was rather cool looking.

Lord Abortion 04-01-2006 06:33 PM

Yeah, the guys modelling them are really gay.
Really really gay.

Glitterati 04-01-2006 06:38 PM

That guy wearing the Atreyu shirt is gayer than....Atreyu themselves.

So I almost bought Atreyu's new album.

I opted for Candlemass: essential doom and Meshuggah: Destroy Erase Improve instead.

Candlemass: Love the music, can't stand the vocals.

Meshuggah: This is the best Meshuggah album i have heard.

I see you're no longer an Atreyu fanboy eh. :p

I love Candlemass. Even the vocals. I got past them easily. The music is great, the vocals kind of remind me of Ozzy (as do Solace's vocals)...

I still like Atreyu, just not near as much.......

Vocals like that get to me for some reason.....it took me a long time to enjoy Primal Fear.......

I did enjoy the fact that they did the original version of Well of Souls though......i always just thought that it was a song by the Haunted .

That will be the album title, the band name is Kriegpferd Drache (Warhorse Dragon auf Deutsch).
