ABR sound pretty mainstream to me.
They really aren't too mainstream, compared to their peers at least. Ppl who get tired of listening to Rise Records bands "graduate" to ABR. And eventually those noobs will get introduced to better metalcore bands than ABR and dismiss them or Abr becomes their nostalgic band. One's musical evolution.

backed
I disagree, I know plenty of noobs who's first foray into metalcore is **** like ABR, Haste the Day, Zao, etc...gtfo.
You gotta understand, these kids aren't from PA.
lol true.
I'm so spoiled with ABR live shows. They're so good live, seriously.
Whenever they come on it's time to go outside and smoke a blunt tbh.
You don't even go to shows. :o

I think this explains it. Well done sir. |
Back in the day, son.
EDIT: @ mappys |
Oh, well back in the day they weren't that good, in fact they were pretty sloppy, and Jon and Josh both used to lose their voices all the time.
Even if I saw them now I still wouldn't give a ****.
I think you'd be surprised mang.
Actually no, you're too opinionated. :p |
I'd just stand in the back with my ARMSxCROSSED.
and i'd crowdxpunch you :p
And then I'd DATExRAPE you.
noooooooooo :(
You might want to pre-lube. Js.
I'd see ABR live. Wouldn't bother with them headlining though, they'd have to be supporting someone baller.
They usually are supporting someone baller, hence the amount of times I've seen them.

Either way, it's the majority that counts. I'm right again, as per usual. |

Hit a bowl or something, then everything will be alright.
All morning, foo.

ugh[/QUOTE] i just checked it and didnt see anything about it on there wat and even so, if its an ep they put out, of course theyre gonna push it... its called you know, money? |
Money and hardcore, a perfect mix!
I hate when people pretend that being a hardcore band means you're not allowed to try and market your work.
And ABR is definitely in the metal spectrum of metalcore. |
Yeah they don't really have much hardcore about them imo. Breakdowns and screamed vocals is all i can think if.
...
Dumbfounded by my awesome knowledge of hardcore?
Quite the opposite, grasshopper.
You could discuss it you know, instead of implying :)
It's no use.
Please enlighten me, oh wise one.
See? You think it can be explained. Your ignorance astounds me.
If it can't be explained then it's not plausable, except obvious exemptions, thus voiding the argument in the first place.
Stop being lazy and give Dimmu something to chew on. |
