I finally got this as I think it was sean who kept talking about how awesome it is. I must say I'm a little intrigued by this but I don't know what to think about it. In terms of musicianship and originality, this far surpasses anything they've ever done. It's actually a really weird album for such a samey death metal band. But something about it just hasn't clicked with me so far and I don't know what it is. it was me who reccd the new Cattle, I have always enjoyed that band but [I]The Harvest Floor[/I] is easily their best for the fact the musicianship has never been better, especially the new drummer

I definitely wouldn't call it BM, but the influences are apparent in plenty of the songs, particularly Wind's Dark Poem. Shoegaze would be a better description, but I'm still not sure that's what I'd label it as.

It really reminds me a lot of Deathconsciousness, so you niggas should check this **** out.

edit: It's like a folky Deathconsciousness.
