Anything wrong in particular? If you want to talk about it, that is.
Eh, it's nothing really. Me and my girlfriend were sleeping together in her room and she kicked me out because she said she was having trouble sleeping.

Riva 08-25-2005 01:20 AM

Yeah, sometimes it's difficult to sleep well with someone lying next to you.

On another note, my wisdom teeth are swelling my jaw to the point where chewing inevitably tears chunks of my cheek off. And my thyroid gland has swelled to the size of a brazil nut. :-/

Huber 08-25-2005 01:21 AM

Ouch. I dread the day mine get pulled.

Have you seen the dentist yet? If not, you need to go ASAP, that shit sounds painful!
Yeah, sometimes it's difficult to sleep well with someone lying next to you.
When she stayed with me for a month this summer, we slept in the same bed every night and neither one of us had trouble sleeping.

Um, you might want to get those removed.

Riva 08-25-2005 01:36 AM

Yeah, once the government places dental work onto public health care. Other than that, I can't do anything since I don't have the money right now.

Arucard 08-25-2005 01:38 AM

GSCE results in an hour. Im not particulaly nervous, because i should do alright.

I care more about getting some good coffee from the cuban place in town after, heh.

Don't your parents have insurance? Or am I missing something here?
I don't like The Pit, it just seems to be a place where annoying guys with big postcounts like Tiger, Zakath, and Humor can run around and stroke their ego.

I also regret that I am just now learning enough about some cool musicians to write up stuff about them, because the market for "series" threads is now quickly becoming oversaturated.

I also am not in the best of moods this evening/morning
Hell yes.

/Was part of original wave.

Now its just some kind of race to see who can shove the most mainstream music down your throat and label it as underground. 'Cept for Pikes threads, they generally/always deliver.

Or you can just ignore them, as they're only on a fraction of the time..
Don't your parents have insurance? Or am I missing something here?

Basically there isn't really health insurance in Australia. The government allows bulk billing for medical procedures, but dental health isn't covered. So stuff like braces, capping, dentures and dental surgery comes out of your own pocket, unless you join a fairly expensive private health fund.

blueyxd 08-25-2005 04:15 AM

I think I might clean my teeth now... keep them good, since I can't afford anything to go wrong until I get a job.

I would man, but most of the times I come into this thread it's a bunch of new people I've never seen before talking about who the hell knows what. But I like to stop in when you guys are here.

munky_magik 08-25-2005 05:43 AM

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. But there's still some people I recognise. Every so often.

Firecracker 08-25-2005 05:47 AM

Stoic 08-25-2005 06:42 AM

Will someone please explain me what exactly are these GSCE results?

munky_magik 08-25-2005 06:43 AM

GSCEs are the standard examinations in English Schools.

Hey jackass, I've never done this, I just write because I enjoy it. I'm not going to say something like "O man, SlipknoT r teh sooooo underground d00d 666 \m/ :headbang:."

Do I get a bit pissed when posts 16-26 are my posts just so I can say that my threads reached a second page? Yeah. But oh well, I probably should expect that.

And how the hell did you get a D in PE? :confuzzled:

Steerpike 08-25-2005 09:04 AM

The current trend in series threads is mostly due to people trying to get recognition.

First came FA. Then FG. Then Riva started the Mayhem to keep us all updated on news inside and out of these boards.

The ball got rolling from there and before we knew it, everyone wanted to make a series. Only a handful though will last very long.

I got an A in practical, but the grade boundries are so bloody high. You need 96% for an A! I got 70% in the theory exam and ended up with a D.

Where I'm staying for uni. Pictures of the townhouse, etc.

Kurtz 08-25-2005 10:43 AM

Who are you sharing your place with this year?

Jom 08-25-2005 10:48 AM

Three guys from this smaller town about forty-five minutes to an hour away from the uni.

I know two of them really well from classes last year, and we'd play cards and basketball and all that. The third is their friend from their high school, who's transferring here. They really bailed me out when I needed a secure place to stay, heh. I owe them a lot, but they're so easy-going, they're all like, "Nah man don't worry about it, glad we could help," etc.

Endless Obsession 08-25-2005 10:50 AM

Last night I had a dream that Jom got modded in the pit.

The townhouse looks nice though.

Jom 08-25-2005 11:01 AM

Hahaha, that's pretty funny. I am still getting a kick out of LarsAgi thinking that I've been modded because I have stars. Heh, oh well.

Also, I've been frantically searching for my infamous MX dream in the R&M Yacht Club, but cannot find it since the search function isn't indexed there.

Instead, I found a post Jelle made in the old thread that got owned minorly by the new filter, which you can read here.

I just think it's a funny visual.

If anyone finds the exact posts (yes, plural, I do believe) and e-mails the links to me or sends them to me on AIM/MSN (the key here is so I'm the one who re-posts it on MX :)), they'll win however much rep++ I can give out.
STORY WHICH INVOLVES ME GETTING OWNED BY PEER.

So, I asks Jelle to read something over MSN today, jesus, he made me look like a fool.

"English is not my first language". He says, but he's better at it than I am, and I'm English. Any rational way of explaining this? :(
thats alright, im an american, so my english is guaranteed worse than yours.

But also, Jelle is from belgium, which is fairly close to the UK,which im sure also aids in his learning of english.

Plus if the flemish speaking part of belgium is anything like the netherlands, than all tv shows that come from the UK or America are just subtitled, and not overdubbed, which also helps in learning a language.

i am the robots 08-25-2005 11:52 AM

That post by CemetaryGates is too humerous to be him, what the Hell happened there? I remember that guy being mentally retarded and as clever as a rotting pile of.... rotting stuff.

That is a good way to learn a language, but it never worked for me with Japanese...

EDIT: Well I'm out for now, seeya MX .

Illmatic 08-25-2005 12:33 PM

Jom: Noice...that is sure as hell better than the dorm I'm staying in.

And I do want to do a series but I'm afraid it'll die quickly because frankly, I've never really supported anyone else's series. I mean, I read them but I never have any idea what to say. I don't want to just post fluff like "Good work", I want to add on to it and say a discussion-starter or something like that.

Oh , and I don't think my mom is my actual mom.

Permanent Solution 08-25-2005 12:38 PM

It's ok, read the entire first page of my Dredg thread Ray

What makes you think that?

Illmatic 08-25-2005 12:46 PM
What makes you think that?
She is white, but I am black.

I always assumed I was half-white, half-black but I've seen other people who are half-white, half black and I am a lot darker than they are, and I have "nappy" hair while they have "white" hair.

I know some half-black kids and they have nappy/black hair.

So you look full black? Maybe it's just weird genetics. Your black genes might have had more of an influence while you were being made than your white genes. It's just like looking more like one parent than another.

The only way I could look/be "full black" would be if my mom was half-black, and she is not. And I am the only "half-black" person to look this way, from what I can gather.

And I have never seen any pictures from my birth.
