Yeah IKTPQ are really generic and boring, but Botch kind of pioneered a sub sub genre.
|
Ed Butcher was the only decent thing about IKTPQ really.
And even then some of his best vocal work wasn't with that band. |
i think he's an awesome vocalist. sounds good live too, his lows may b a bit off but still good
|
he's in another band right?
|
he was in eternal lord but left
i didnt like eternal lord tho |
after extensive listening, i have decided that i dont like botch or i killed the prom queen
listing the two together like that is the cutest thing ive seen so far on this forum also, also lol the breakdown at 1:40 in the sadness will never end (bmth) is so much like the breakdown in i dont feel very receptive today (underoath)... just the chugs are lower and the deets are higher. |
thats the one sam carter guests on as well
|
yeah, lol at them making him sing like aaron from underoath even
he definitely sings a bit different in architects |
got new bleeding through. i like. i jush that their albums would have lower vocals and louder guitars
|
the vocals on the older stuff arent very low or good for that matter.
i have yet to hear their new album but im guessing it blows cause its bleeding through i might be wrong oh well, myspace time okay, the vocals sound really meh, the keyboards kill it first song anyhow |
wut song u listening to. i like the 1st song, the one i cant pronounce or spell. sister charalatan is prolly the best song imo
|
idk first song on the myspace, it was baaaaad
|
seriously man, take a listen its a damn good album
|
everything ive heard is just like
solid melodic deathy metalcore ruined by the vocals and synths kinda like every bleeding through cd |
yeah, lol at them making him sing like aaron from underoath even

It's a lot better than most Bleeding Through stuff IMO. More deathy and the vocals and keyboards are a lot better than they used to be. I think the new guitarist from I Killed The Prom Queen is a good influence on them.
new stuff is like a real cross between underoath and bury your dead
its pretty lame imo |
I still haven't checked it out. :p guess I will.
|
the last 5 songs are cool, the rest is pretty meh
it was written in blood is okay but the chorus kills it its like, they were always doing the mdm thing, they just got better at it from demos into count your blessings where they could finally pull it off, then this comes out and theyre doing something new and theyre terrible at it |
its pretty lame imo
I would of liked to have seen a proper continuation of them doing melo-death with some newer influences also coming in. But I guess they didn't like the way they were being pigeon-holed as deathcore so changed it up. Regardless they have some really good songs on the new albums with some really bad ones as well. Same consistency as Count Your Blessings really. |
