Haha, most food people associate with chinese like fried rice, chow mein, beef and broccoli, is american. Haha! I still have trouble with stuff like stuffed duck, and certain soups will drive me to killing someone. I'd really like to learn more about greek food..some really unique stuff right there!

Panopticon 02-23-2006 10:13 PM

DuckinFutch8 02-23-2006 10:15 PM

I'll own you all in the ribs contest though.

I make me a sick rack of them. Baby back all the way...

Nice and tangy and juicy, falls right off the bone. And I can make a pretty good burger, that's about it though.

aznriceball 02-23-2006 10:15 PM

Ugh..to ruin my meal further they also want to eat ice cream and cake right after. For cryin out loud, I spend a year learning things like how to make crepes, and they want ice cream. &$@&%)(!&$)%

Authentic French Crepes from the little restaurents in the little country towns are were it's at. They are so good, plus just the culture is amazing, the little towns are so beautiful there, I really want to go back.
but i can't get a friggin bottle of friggin safeway wine..
Pff don't use cooking wines. Nothing compares to a nice burgundy or a cotes du rhone.

Maggot Dream 02-24-2006 12:02 AM

I went to a little town in Normandy called Honfleur when I visited France. It was by far my favorite place on the trip. Really nice wharf, beautiful town, just an all around nice place.

Double Bass Jim 02-24-2006 12:03 AM

Someones been watching the food network too much

DuckinFutch8 02-24-2006 12:04 AM

IRON CHEF!!

Maggot Dream 02-24-2006 12:06 AM

They had a show on lobster once. It was amazing.

Double Bass Jim 02-24-2006 12:06 AM

Yeah the original show was great, the overdubed voicing was hilarious.

I do believe it's called tzatziki, the sauce that is. Idon't mind gyro's but I really am a sandwich man, and a rib man. God, I make killer sandwiches, absolutely killer, it's all about the oven, the left over meat, and the cheese. And my ribs, I make my own sauce, soooooooo good.

/does most of the cooking at home.

Futuro 02-24-2006 12:51 AM

Aren't there like a total of 6 people living on the Shetland Isles? So it's unlikely anyone else is from there on here.

Trev 02-24-2006 01:57 PM

Oh my god.
I'm stiff. My thighs, shins, lower back, and hips all ache like hell.
I don't know why.
I haven't done any real physical activity in the last week.
