Have fun br3ad. Is this your first one?

morrissey 12-15-2005 06:38 PM
So I saw House for the first time the other day. Good stuff.
woot woot

Nice to see you coming around.

Zappa 12-15-2005 06:43 PM

I've been watching House for maybe 5 weeks now. It's a little bit TOO hip, but it's incredibly entertaining anyway. Dayamn.

morrissey 12-15-2005 06:44 PM

:cool::cool:

I'm sure the schtick will get old, but not yet.

edit: I just started watching Boston Legal based on some recommendations, I don't think I like it. Is James Spader's character supposed to be this irritating? I'll give it a few more weeks, but I don't know.

The_Red_Death 12-15-2005 06:45 PM

Yeah, House is probably the only TV show I actually follow, and one of the 2 or 3 I'll watch regularly. Great show.

But I have a question, that's kinda completely unrelated. I've never really posted here before, I'm more of a regular of the bass forum, and I noticed in the rules for Alt/Indie that it said no filesharing threads. I was wondering if asking if someone could send me a couple songs over AIM would fall under filesharing. I wasn't sure, seeing as other forums, Pop-Punk for example, have AIM Trade Threads. In case you were wondering, I was looking to see if someone could introduce me to Radiohead, as I've heard great things about them, and I was also looking for the song "Wonderwall" by Oasis.

EDIT: In case anyone was wondering, my screenname is in my profile.

Yeah that's acceptable. I think we have an AIM trading thread floating around somewhere here.

What's your screename? I could send you Wonderwall. Too lazy to send you Radiohead albums, but one song will do.

Little Man being Erased 12-15-2005 07:06 PM

I like House.

I saw American Dad for the first time last night. It was great.

Yes, he's supposed to be a wanker.

He's good at it though.

morrissey 12-15-2005 07:59 PM

I meant, nice to see you like some good stuff. You need to get out of your Oasis/GNR/Poison funk.

Joe: so it's not just me. I don't know why I'm even bothering to watch this show.

Well personally I don't mind the show or his character. Shatner is great though.

Glitterati 12-15-2005 08:42 PM

For some reason I still have a video on my computer of Slug playing the keyboard drunk.

/me ponders deletion

Oh how I miss that man.

It is. Not a very ideal first one, but I'll survive.

morrissey 12-15-2005 10:21 PM

Does anyone have any good television show recommendations?

Zmev 12-15-2005 10:22 PM

I think besides sports shows, all I watch are cartoons.

Real life is too boring I suppose.

Relive your childhood, and turn on YTV sometime.

I don't watch too much television, but one of the shows I enjoy is Arrested Development. It recently got cancelled but if you're not familiar with it you should definitely give the DVDs a watch sometime.

Zmev 12-15-2005 10:36 PM

I got Frida Kahlo.

It came back. I love that show as well.

So I've been going out my girlfriend for about a year and a half right. And this guy, wants to beat me up because he thinks I'm banging his ex-girlfriend (and my friend) who he broke up with 6 months ago.

Why are guys so stupid?

biografiend 12-15-2005 11:00 PM

I really like The Office.

morrissey 12-15-2005 11:00 PM
Blackadder.
I've seen all of the first four series, some kind of wonderful.

Thanks for the recommendations guys I'll try to check them out.

Liam, I have 3 siblings under the age of 9. I've seen enough YTV shows to last me a lifetime, and then some. :(

edit: US or UK office? The UK version was classic, I've never seen anything beyond the American pilot episode though. I've also seen the first season of Extras (is there anything beyond a first season?) which is hilarious in its cringe-worthiness. If you like the British version of the Office, I recommend it.

The closest I got was 60% Brigham Young, which can only mean I'm the next Mormon prophet.

I also got Drew Barrymore, Martin Luther King Jr.,and that Russian dude with the gross pockmarked face, which should give you the indication I am not a very attractive man (I did get David Beckham though, that dreamboat).

biografiend 12-15-2005 11:20 PM

I got 64% Scarlett Johannson.
