It's not as heavy as I thought it would be.

123... The lead vocalist is quoted to wanting to be more "Rock" then "Metal". This album is such a letdown on so many levels and this is coming from someone who enjoyed their old stuff.

botb 09-29-2008 05:18 PM

Well I loved their old stuff, but their new stuff is by no means bad.

thomasj12e34 09-29-2008 05:19 PM

is burst considered metalcore

hismajestythepope 09-29-2008 07:13 PM

the new bmth is pretty weak

and wtf at oli changing up his vocals, the shrieks and growls would probably make this stuff more badass

sleep with one eye open is cool

Dimmu Burger 09-29-2008 08:23 PM

Trying to be rock when you're obviously a metal band is a horrible idea. It may have worked for Cave-In but look at everybody else that tried to do it and turned to crap. 18 Visions for example.

4yearpro? 09-29-2008 08:51 PM

gonna get up nice and early tomorrow and head into manhattan to get the new bleeding through. it rly sux. idunno anymore record stores in brooklyn that sell metal stuff unless they're in neighborhoods i dont chill in

I wouldn't think so, I'd call em progressive metal, but they have some sludge influences and less hardcore influences.

neonskies 09-29-2008 10:30 PM

I liked Count Your Blessings but I much rather Suicide Season. It grabbed me at first listen, unlike CYB, so I think I'll be listening to this one for awhile.

Was I the only one who laughed at that one line in "No Need For Introductions..."?

"And after everything you put me through I should have ****ing pissed on you!"

jrowa001 09-29-2008 10:39 PM

BMtH are so ****ing horrible its upsetting their new album actually is liked by some users here. but to each their own i guess

hismajestythepope 09-29-2008 11:49 PM

hush

Iluvatar 09-29-2008 11:50 PM

dude mappy srsly like bmth are one of these worst bands ever

hismajestythepope 09-29-2008 11:51 PM

theres some good songs on the new cd, count your blessings is good, etc.

they were better at deathcore than they are at bullpoop bury your dead garbage

the sadness will never end is a good underoath rip-off tbh

Pebster49 09-30-2008 01:52 AM

Ya, Im with Mappy on this, I'm not really digging his whiney or clean vocals at all. Count Your Blessings had some strong songs, but as an album a little tiresome, still good. This album is mehish...between 2.5-3. The last song is pretty good

Dimmu Burger 09-30-2008 07:48 AM

They are both pretty good. I look forward to hitting up the new album.

TimJim 09-30-2008 09:20 AM

after extensive listening, i have decided that i dont like botch or i killed the prom queen

jrowa001 09-30-2008 09:21 AM

i killed the prom queen are not that good but Botch are awesome even though i dont listen to them much
