i love sports games. I can't stand RPGs. I just get frusterated cause i can't beat a level and then stop playing it. In sports games you can play as much as you want and thiers not all these gay combos you have to memorize.

Understanding In a Crash 08-09-2005 04:32 PM
Pfff, same as every annual sports game. Same gameplay, updated teams and the slight change of modes that will keep you occupied for a few days more.

NO, Madden '06 OWNS ALL....

I suppose sports games are the kind of games which are fun to play with friends, but even then, there's way better genres to play multiplayer.

The way I see it, game consoles and the games you play on them are a way of doing things you can never do in real life. Obviously, I don't exactly use this as a rule, but it just made sense to me.

Puma 08-09-2005 04:33 PM

The game I play the most is still Halo 2. That game's hella sweet.

Tjebby 08-09-2005 04:35 PM

I know, I looked at the extras for the next Rugby game and it looks amazing. It showed a clip of a bunch of English (white, with the red stripe?) men dancing and I was HOOKED.

The Geoshities one?

I don't know if that would work, cos you have to either use a proper address or an IP address depending on who's hosting it.

The other option is there's probably other hubs with like 1 or 2 people in. We could just hijack there's?

Rugby's a pretty crappy sport. And why were they dancing?

Bloodlust 08-09-2005 04:38 PM

Understanding In a Crash 08-09-2005 04:39 PM

Meh, rugby sucks. Loads of men tackling each other in the raining and then hugging in a circle

poprocks&coke 08-09-2005 04:48 PM

Rugby is still better than football.

Tjebby 08-09-2005 04:49 PM

Is anyone really good with computers?

Dead Star 08-09-2005 04:51 PM
Rugby is still better than football.
Dead Star 08-09-2005 04:53 PM

Bloodlust 08-09-2005 04:54 PM

Tjebby 08-09-2005 04:57 PM

Wireless Internet. I mean you have to be good. My dad works for a computer company and we had an engineer come in, he couldn't solve it. But anyways. We have a Wireless internet, and we bought an antenna for my computer. We can't get the internet, but were able to get a connection. :-/
any ideas?

Bloodlust 08-09-2005 04:58 PM

is the card that the antenna plugged in active or installed?

albert_bass 08-09-2005 04:59 PM

Wait, if you can connect to internet, how is it that you can't get it?

Dead Star 08-09-2005 05:02 PM

I have no idea, sorry Mike.

Bloodlust 08-09-2005 05:02 PM

is the power on?

Tjebby 08-09-2005 05:02 PM
Wait, if you can connect to internet, how is it that you can't get it?
I don't get it either. :p

And Gregg, its a Linksys antenna, installed into my computer. It is active.

Bloodlust 08-09-2005 05:02 PM

im jsut making stuff up. yeah sorry i don't have any idea either.

Tjebby 08-09-2005 05:04 PM

I'm gonna go boot it up. I'll tell you guys what happens.

EDIT: I get a good signal, no connection. Sorry albert.

albert_bass 08-09-2005 05:21 PM

Oh then... do you have Windows XP? I assume you have.

You should go to Control Panel -> net connections and internet -> net connections

There, you have to find your new connection, assuming it's DSL or cable, and repair it or install the drivers.

Tjebby 08-09-2005 05:22 PM

Yep.

albert_bass 08-09-2005 05:23 PM

Modem or router? cable or dial-up?

Tjebby 08-09-2005 05:24 PM

We have a router.

Kif 08-09-2005 05:26 PM

Heh

Reggie And The Penis Effect

Heh

albert_bass 08-09-2005 05:27 PM

****...then I don't know if I can help... try what I said and see if you have the drivers of the router. If you have try repairing the connection right clicking over the icon and then Repair.

Check also if both PC's have everything well configured, the wi-fi card should be installed in both.
