Power metal. About as cheesey as they come.
Bah.

Kurtz 02-21-2005 12:53 PM

B loves them.

BoboTheRagingHobo 02-21-2005 12:55 PM

I think I have gotten over my craze phase for power metal. I rarely listen to it any more...

Not even Dragonforce?

Dancin' Man 02-21-2005 01:06 PM

Manowar = cheesiest band ever. I posted that somewhere in this thread.

BoboTheRagingHobo 02-21-2005 01:07 PM

Very rarely. I don't know, just bored of it right now.

In the beginning, 2 people on MX knew Wormed. X12oz and manu. Manu told me about them... I liked them, wrote the review... now, every single n00b that joins up knows them.

Why I never do reviews anymore.

But they're good. I just wish they did a better job with the mixing and the vocals had more variation.

For a short while all I listened to was power metal, but I don't listen to it nearly as much now. Though I still love it.

Boo fuckin' hoo dude.

So what if more people hear about a band? Doesn't make it bad, unless you are an extreme elitest cunt.

Fuck you people and your whole entire thing of wanting to keep things "kvlt".

I don't care if real extreme metal fans know about them, but usually Wormed are the only death metal band these noobs seem to know of.

zeppelin: wow, where did you hear about them?
something about rep whoring in pink.
I'm trying but I might run out before I can spread enough around.

Illmatic 02-21-2005 01:16 PM

Alright, I'm gonna go head out now.

jpj 02-21-2005 01:16 PM

Does anyone know of a free site like www.xsao.net (doesn't have what I'm looking for) or www.rmparadise.net (isn't working) where you can listen to whole albums?

Negative. When ever I see a "noob" post in the death heads, it usually contains :

Morbid Angel
Cryptopsy
Dying Fetus
Cannibal Corpse
Vader
Or some nu-metal or metalcore band they think is death metal.

Kazaa...either mislabeled or not, but covers of Maiden that I liked, and d/led another song or two.

Dancin' Man 02-21-2005 01:18 PM

I generally see Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel.
Did the vocals sound like a frog getting a fork shoved down it's throat?
That singer really gets around, judging from alot of the bands I have been hearing recently.
Did the vocals sound like a frog getting a fork shoved down it's throat? If so, then it was Wormed and totally mislabeled...

If not, you are way off base.
I don't recall, I lost it. It was of fear of the dark and had bagpipes...which I thought was very odd...not like the other stuff I got by them, which was like...Geothermic dome? something along those lines...and so I didn't get anymore.

Do they have other songs with bagpipes? Because I liked that aspect, but I didn't like much of the CoF I dled either.

Not that I know of, the only other song I have from them is Black Metal.

How does this thread grow so fast? It took us like a month to get the first thousand (possible lie, will check later)

Silenius 02-21-2005 01:41 PM

To 30000 posts in the thread.
