What does "aye yi yi" mean anyhow?

Joe 03-30-2006 09:33 PM
What does "aye yi yi" mean anyhow?
I think it means: "I'm rolling my eyes because this thing isn't quite driving me crazy but it's pretty close."

Just a guess.

Riva 03-30-2006 09:35 PM

Power Rangers, ftw? Alright I'm off.

Chris: Sounds amusing.

Everyone: Goodbye, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen goodnight!

Ahh, makes sense.

I read it as "ai yee yee"

'Night Riva

It kinda makes sense. It's overused. I feel like I've been on the bandwagon for too long...

NP: Testify - SRV

Oh I killed it again. How's everyone night been?

ArcLite 03-30-2006 09:47 PM

It'll be finer when I'm off of work and can hit the sack. Other than that, just keeping smile on my face by constantly reminding myself I only have 4.5 weeks left in the Army.

ATM 03-30-2006 09:48 PM

What's your plan for post-army?

Cain 03-30-2006 09:51 PM
Hey Lucas, you planning to be online at all this weekend? My PM tune is a couple hours of work from completion and I'd really like for you to give it a critical listen. I always appreciate your thoughts on my material.
I wasn't originally, but I certainly can be. That tune you had was great, and I'd love to listen to it. Just in case I don't happen to be on at the same time, though, my email is:

lshine@slc.edu

EDIT: Congrats on not being in the Army for much longer.

ArcLite 03-30-2006 09:52 PM
What's your plan for post-army?
Gonna go work for my uncle in Wisconsin. He owns a flooring business and is hooking me up with a job to pay the bills. May go to gunsmithing school next year.

NP: Sabaton - Primo Victoria
I love the beginning of this song when he's singing and then the music slams in as he says "...lines!" Great tune.

No needs to change plans, Lucas, I'll just email it to you or wait until next week. I should've had your email address earlier, you've missed lots of good forwarded jokes :).

Joe 03-30-2006 09:52 PM

You're in the Army? Didn't know that. What are you doin there?

ArcLite 03-30-2006 10:01 PM
You're in the Army? Didn't know that. What are you doin there?
Heh, honestly I forgot how I got here :p. If you meant what do I do, I just sit and and monitor and backup a computer supply network all night. Leaves about 7.75 hours of 8 hour shift for MXing.

Ah. That actually sounds kind of boring, especially since it sounds like it's a night shift. I'm pretty bored right now. There's no school tomorrow.

/Daily Show starts in like 2 minutes!

ArcLite 03-30-2006 10:06 PM
That actually sounds kind of boring...
If it weren't for my love of internet life, it certainly would be.

Shred Danson 03-30-2006 10:06 PM

Daily Show, w00t. I like The Colbert Report better though.

NP: Ensiferum, Ensiferum and more Ensiferum.

I'm friggin' addicted.
If it weren't for my love of internet life, it certainly would be.
 definitely. As long as it's fun it's not too bad right?

Watching the Daily Show then off to bed. Goodnight MX
Daily Show, w00t. I like The Colbert Report better though.
It's ok. He has better interviews, but JS I think is funnier. Goodnight!

Shred Danson 03-30-2006 10:15 PM

I like how Colbert mixes up his demographics in the interview. He'll interview a conservative one day and a liberal the other then a moderate next week. Daily Show interviews a billion liberals/democrats and maybe just a few handfuls of conservatives/republicans each year, and usually when they do, they totally slam them and don't give them much a chance to speak. Colbert pins both sides, his gimmick is good.

ATM 03-30-2006 10:53 PM

I think the real news is funnier.

Steerpike 03-30-2006 10:55 PM
The one from 1962 or '98? It sounds pretty cool.
The '62 original.

Nostalgia 03-30-2006 11:50 PM

I saw V for vendetta for the 3rd time tonight. That movie is so amazing and really, really poetic. I loved its ability to combine politics and a severe epidemic. Amazing movie.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-31-2006 12:03 AM

I really want to see that movie.

I don't really know much about the politics involved, but I think both their shows are incredibly witty. I think one big thing about them is that they are very unpredictable.

Jev 03-31-2006 12:56 AM

Ok so today hopefully I'll be recording my music piece. let's hope my "teacher" doesn't screw me about again.

Why you leaving?

V for Vedetta previews look really bad.

Bartender 03-31-2006 06:35 AM

New Green Wing tonight.

It's taking quite a lot of restraint for me to keep from using the caps lock and a large number of exclamation points in the above sentence.

Nope.

The previews and trailers suck tremendously, yes. The film doesn't, though.

i had the other guitarist from this new "band" come over last night to jam. It turns out, hes into Nevermore, lamb of god, messhugah...

He hates the "music" the band is playing now, and wants to change it, but it too afraid to say anything.

I wanted to hug the kid, but didnt want him questioning my sexuality  Needless to say, hes coming over again tonight
